We got this for friends, as a Christmas gift. I put it in a basket with a couple of bottles of regional barbecue sauce, and a few towels that will look nice on their grill. They grill hamburgers and steaks a lot and were so surprised and pleased. I'm glad I got it for them because it's custom made and of obvious high quality, and unique.

wasn’t sure what to expect, but this particular brand was perfect. heated it on a gas range and it made perfect brands in wood. the handle is not especially long, so heating it in a roaring fire might be exciting, but with a good glove and common sense it shouldn’t be a problem.

I wish there was more craftmanship. The handle is the same material as the rod holding the brand, so as heat travels, you need a handle to hold the hot handle. Make sense? Little more effort here would have made a good seller.

I bought this to make coasters for my family. It worked as I hoped. I had to put back in the coals of my fire pit in between each coaster.
