I’m a huge MHA fan but I will say, the first movie was a little lacking. So no get me wrong, it was decent, but overall it was a little more flat in its execution other than the boss fight if you compare it to the rest of MHA (still good, just one of the weaker things in the MHA animated medium). This movie has much cooler villains, better fights, and superior character scenes including new characters. There is also a lot more emotion in this movie. It’s easy to see why, as Horikoshi said that he used elements for this movie that he had planned for the climax of the entire series. Due to movies using up some ideas, we have been told to expect no more MHA movies We will see about that, I think there is always room for side movies with different twists (like alternate dimension MHA). If you are a fan of this series or looking for a gift for a fan, you cannot go wrong with this. I was fortunate enough to see it in theaters before Covid/shutdowns.

Favorite MHA movie thus far. This item includes dvd, blu-ray, and a digital copy via Funimation. Digital copy includes sub/dub versions. My original purchase did not have the digital code inside even though it was shrink wrapped. Maybe I was sent a returned item that was repackaged. Was able to easily swap for a new one. Just make sure to return the defective item by the deadline given or you'll be charged for the replacement.

I went in a little unsure since the first movie i did not care for,. but this one matches the show perfect. it seemed like the writers were the same from the show and know the characters and knew their audience and what they would enjoy seeing! it was hilarious. the whole theater was so into the movie as well. (this was the last movie i saw before covid happened) i could not wait for it to come out so i could watch it again, the music is astounding and emotional, especially at the end. the colors and animation are amazing and match the amine perfectly. the characters themselves and the interactions they exhibit are true to themselves. some characters that are normally paired together are but also get some screen time and interact with others too so that was neat to see them together like Tokoyami interact with Mina and then Aoyama interact with Momo was cool too :) i would recommend to watch. i will not spoil anything but there were times at the end i could not believe and everyone fell out of their chair!

I've actually watched the movie around a week after it came out back in March because I had to focus on college so I had to find the time to watch it in theaters, but in JP version. Let me just say that I do not regret watching it at all because I can tell they poured so much love into this especially the animations! Horikoshi took a part into this movie rather than the last one so it makes sense, plus he himself said he was thinking of ending the show this way (it was just his idea btw! im not sure if its set in stone according to him). Another thing is that it was his idea to have the students get their own shot in the movie and I can really see it! This was actually the last movie I watched in theaters before covid came along and decided to do a lockdown in my area. All I can say is, I recommend watching this since it's somewhat canon to the story anyway because the villain nine showed up in one of the chapters from the manga.

Telling you I love this movie is an understatement! I saw this in theaters back before the pandemic got bad and the theaters closed, and I haven’t stopped thinking about this movie since. Especially the climax that made everyone cry. I knew I had to own it ASAP and man, it gets me tearing up every time. 10/10, would recommend, it’s a must watch for any MHA fan!

Warning! Do consider that though you get this movie via CD and supposed to give you a digital version via Funimation but as we know Funimation went under so you can no longer redeem it.

Not only do I love this series the movies are really great too. This one is even better then the first. From the great plot to beautiful music and awesome animation id totally recommend this movie and series to new and old anime fans

Class 1-A finds themselves cut off and against a band of villains that seem to be more powerful then anything they have faced before. Will they be able to rise to the challenge and protect the future or will Nine and his people succeed in their plot to destroy society. Watch the movie to find out. A great movie to watch and another excellent installment in the My Hero Academia franchise. After a problem with the shipping I had to contact Amazon Customer Service to find out where my purchase was directly. Not only did the person I talk to answer super quick but all my questions were answered and the problem was quickly solved. Thanks Amazon

リージョンAですがアメリカ・カナダの国コード指定があるため、国コードが変更できない日本国内の一般的なBlu-rayデッキでの再生が出来ませんでした 説明にこの記載がなく戸惑いましたがMac(PC)の再生ソフトで国コードをアメリカに変更する事ができ再生が出来ました(回数制限はないはずです) アニメシリーズのBlu-rayは国コード指定がなくても再生出来るレビューがあったためこちらも同じと思ったら違ったのでご注意下さい… 内容に関しては最高です

Es mi película favorita de My Hero Academia. Sólo viene en inglés y japonés pero la calidad es muy buena. La recomiendo si eres fan y no tienes problemas con los subtítulos.

Exemplary MHA movie, if you are a my hero academia fan and haven't seen this, it is required viewing. Animation is on point, the self contained story is very engaging and the score is as always flawless. The final 10 minutes of this movie is probably also the best piece of animated media there is in my opinion. The fight is choreographed and animated better than anything Ive seen and can honestly say you won't be disappointed.
