I love this! I was organizing my daughters room and needed something to put her dress up clothes in and books. This is perfect. It fits lots of books and we use the drawer for all her dress up clothes. We put two bins in the middle with a variety of toys. I found it relatively easy to put together. However, it is a bit awkward to put together because as you’re building it, it’s sometimes hard to understand which part you’re building. I built it by myself in about 2 hours. Overall, a great buy!

This is perfect! My husband was surprised how sturdy it is. For the price it is well worth it. It even holds more books then what I thought. The bottom shelf has wheels to roll out. Its slightly hard on carpet to get the drawer open, so if it was on hard floor it would be fine. But it's great that the wheels were added on. It was missing a piece to hold the back board together but it wasn't structurally needed, so my husband just put it together without it. This is great for my 2 boys! I highly recommend it!

Putting this bookcase together is not easy. At step 14 the whole structure wobbles and breaks two wooden sticks and rips out a screw. The instructions should state REQUIRES TWO PEOPLE! Poor me tried to do this by myself and now I'm stuck. I don't know what to do 😭 UPDATE: Eventually I was able to assemble the bookcase. I turned the broken sticks (part #3) over and inserted them upside down, that way the broken tip was inside and the whole part sticking outside. I also reinserted the screw that ripped out into the same hole and then turned the structure over and that way was able to attach the part A as in the step 14 of the instructions, but upside down. Also, the wheel screws (part #2) don't lock properly in most of the places and that makes me question the reliability of the construction. Right now the bookcase is functional, but I don't know how it will withstand everyday use and whether it won't fall apart. UPDATE 2: So it's been a week or so since I've set up this bookcase, and today I noticed that it is no longer safe, because the screws that were attaching it to the wall (to prevent tipping over) have ripped out of the bookcase (see pics). UPDATE 3: The seller reached out to me and offered advice and a 50% refund. I shop on Amazon a lot and this hardly ever happens. The seller really cares. While I cannot recommend this particular product (unless you are prepared for the assembly not being easy), I highly recommend this seller. They are great!

This bookshelf is exactly what we needed! The design is super cute and kid-friendly — my toddler can easily grab her favorite books and toys all by herself. It’s sturdy, well-made, and holds more than I expected. Assembly was quick and simple, and it looks great in our play area. It really helps keep everything organized. Highly recommend for any parent!

Item packaged nicely, easy to set up, and holds a lot of books. Item looks as pictured. I added some gold embellishments from JoAnn Fabric store since my daughter's room has elements of gold in it.

Unfortunately like others have said, the cheap material broke while I was assembling. After emailing Utex a couple times, they wrote me back and I had to send pictures of the broken boards and tell them which parts needed replacing.. not sure why cause they sent me an entire new one. I finished assembling it but I’m nervous about the stability and the bottom drawer is useless. It doesn’t attach to the rest of the bookcase and is annoying to pull out. I can’t believe how much it cost and wish I never bought it in the first place :(

I was nervous about this purchase because there were only like three reviews. Let me tell you, this thing ain't so bad!! It's definitely not high quality handmade solid wood furniture, but it's durable enough to withstand the brutality of my 7 and 3 year old. It arrived very quickly THANKS TO THE WONDERFUL FOLKS AT THE USPS in great condition. There are a zillion little parts and pieces but they all add to the integrity of the bookshelf. It looks like a complicated build but it totally isn't. Took me about an hour during my virtual happy hour. It holds a ton of books. Normal books. Paper and hardback. Board books are a different story. We keep most of those in the drawer but eventually we'll phase those out cuz the youngest is turning 4 soon. Speaking of the drawer, it's not attached. It will pull all the way out. If you buy this for children it may turn into a toy. Again, not fine furniture!! I'm installing a stop bar so the drawer can't come out anymore. Don't want the kids to break it. All in all I consider this a good buy. The white coating is gonna get scratched up. It got a little scratched as I was putting it together on the hardwood floor. But at the end of the day the hole thing is gonna get covered in boogers and stickers and nail polish so who really cares?? Price is fine but I obviously wanted cheaper lol
