Genuine OEM ATF. Bought it for my 14 CX-5 on 150,000 miles. Working without any issues.

Only Use OEM
Don’t take the chance on non-OEM transmission fluid. Just get the manufacturer’s fluid recommended type.

My transmission is still going strong at 120K miles. I’ll never use anything other than oem for Mazda.

OEM fluid ,It Worked perfectly,I used 5 quarts for transmission filter and fluid replacement. I highly recommended to replace fluid and filter at least every 80k miles you'll notice all the metal particles and scum attached to magnet and pan. No issues with transmission gears afterwards.

Orig equipment best choice for a Mazda CX-5
Mazda (0000-FZ-113E-01) . Only fluid to use in a 2018 CX-5. Dont mix other brands in your transmission.. Also dont let a garage talk you into a FULL FLUSH, as even Mazda says do not do a complete flush.

Good stuff for doing and drain and refill on my Mazda CX-5
Many online mechanics recommend refreshing your transmission fluid every 50000 miles or so, even if the manufacturer says it's lifetime fluid. According to Scotty Kilmer, to them. lifetime means the lifetime of the warranty. He also says to use the stuff that came with the car. You can't get all the old stuff out, so the same fluid will be definitely compatible with what's left in there. There are some good online tutorials for doing this on the CX-5.
