Great fins
Just got out of the water and thought these fins deserved a review. Iโve bodysurfed for decades and worn a lot of fins and these are, by far, the best Iโve had. They have plenty of blade area and solid ridges down the sides to give you good, quick thrust. They are light and compact, so you can travel with themโโI took them in my carry-on to Spain and got great waves. But the absolute best thing about them is the foot pocketโโitโs got good coverage on your foot, top and bottom. The rubber is soft enough to have no chafing, but you never get that excess flex when kicking. I have had the lips of big waves hit me at the ankles when I was diving under and these fins stay on. Do that in my Duck Feet UDTs and at least one fin would be hanging by the ankle strapโโwhich I donโt need to mess with any more because these fins stay on. Do they float? I think so, but never had the occasion to find out because they stay on. I wear US 11 DD shoes and the large fits perfect, but the foot pocket design would work as well with a little more room, or less. Just well designed fins.

Great! As advertised
Buddies for my 12 year-old, I wanna be body surfer. They were delivered on time and are excellent. Iโll be curious to see if they last the 10 years at my duck feet have

Surface Rescue swimmer approved.
Well I had to return the first order as there was only one fin in the box. No problems aside from the delay, the second box had them both. Unlike all my other fins, these are meant to be worn with the drain/vent facing down. The shape of the opening can create some confusion as your foot will probably fit better wearing them upside down. I am a Size 13 and can wear them without a fin sock but they would be a bit too tight with one. So XL feels like a US 12.5 to me. I am a rescue specialist (helicopter) and I got them to start adding resistance from normal fins working towards full Rocket type in preparation for qualifications before Hurricane season. Compared to a standard mini/short training fin like a Capas/Finis/Speedo (I have each) these do make a difference. I have warm up swim data going back months and months and these shaved off about 7 seconds per 100M compared. They do want to come off if you push off the wall at the wrong angle, but it was clear to me they generate more thrust with the same kick cadence. I think I understand why they are tight at the top, meaning the soft rubber that sits on top of your foot can feel like its rubbing. If they are for body boarding then skimming the wave tops with feet facing down behind you would catch water and rip the fins off. This way, they kind of seal that gap. Speaking of losing a fin, they do mostly float or eventually float in a pool. I've yet to see them in salt water where I suppose they will do a bit better. I am going give them a thumbs up. I've got several miles on them now so my feet are used to them. Not having a L / R, being open at the back and toe, and the bright colors make them indeed suitable for surf rescue work so I will be putting them in the bag and may get another pair.

Great in XL for 10 and a half USA size
I bodyboard. Got large but had to return because the footbed was simply too small. I'm a 10.5 usa size. Luckily tried an XL with some 2.5mm neoprene booties. Most comfortable set-up I have found and this is after trying many different fins and sock combos. Though I don't have very wide feet I do like space in the toe area so often get wide type shoes. Plenty of space, so much that I wouldn't use them without the booties. With the booties I wasn't even worried about them slipping off and indeed they did not. 3-4ft (face height.) Just back from a glorious hour and a half catching waves and could have kept going for two more. They seem to have good thrust as I was catching waves with ease. The rubber is soft in the footbed and the ankle strap but the blade is stiffer. I will buy again as being comfortable out there really makes it fun.

Arrived Early in Fine shape
Nice fins for body-surfing and I'm sure body boarding. Soft gum rubber, nice shape for power, not stiff in the wrong places and comfortable to wear. I wear a 12 shoe and the 12/13 size fits fine.Easy to get on and off. Looking forward to using for many years.

Could be better but works
Looks cool but the flex is kinda wrongโฆ. I donโt know itโs not the greatest buildโฆ. You can of course hit better speed but something is just rightโฆ. Will get the job done however

Do not buy these
These are very heavy and loose fitting. I find they don't work as well as some rental styles I've used. They lack an adjustment strap at the back after a short period of use they were painful to use due to the poor fit. My shoe size is an exact men's 9 medium width

Very powerful fins. Didnt expect much for price but they are great. Catching waves easier and more control.

Have used them for two winters of Baja boogie boarding and swimming. Great quality. I bought large and they are 1/2 size to big for my US size 8 goot, however.... the extra room is beneficial to prevent rubbing. I use them with Dakine ankle straps, have never had them come off.
