The Bhagavad Gita

One of my favorite translations on Bhagavad Gita. Sri Sivanandajis commentary is very simple, lucid, concise, and stays true to the intent of the discussion between Krishna and Arjuna. The book size is also very nice for taking on the go and the book pages are nice and thick. I would recommend all sincere students of Yoga, Vedanta, and Hindu Dharma to have Sri Sivanandajis Bhagavad Gita on deck.

This 'book' is God incarnate. I really have nothing more to say.I feel so thankful that Swami ji put his energy into creating this translation and commentary. I am also very fond of the the prayer and Gita Mahatmya. May Swami Sivanand ji 's eternal blessings always flow!

I like everything about The Bhagavad Gita. It is teaching us what is life and how it should be lived.

I like it. It is easy to understand.

Sivananda translated and wrote commentaries on the Gita, Upanishads and Brahma Sutras, the three main texts of Vedanta, from a yoga standpoint.

There were many versions from which to choose and I am very happy with this selection.

This book arrived two weeks ahead of schedule. Very pleased about that and the book is exactly as described. I am using it to prepare for Yoga Teacher Training. It is recommended reading for the course and I’m very glad that it is. It helps a great deal with understanding the ancient teachings of the Indian philosophy and culture of Yoga and Vedanta.

It's a must in your library and it's a book for your entire life, every time you read it you'll find new things to learn. It's the perfect guide to help you even in the worst moments, one can take refuge in Bhagavad Gita and being taken cared of.

The book provides each and every Shloka printed in Devnagari followed by word to word translation in English and then the full meaning of the Shloka with commentary in simple and easy to understand English.The indexes to Shlokas and subjects given at the end are very useful to locate the Shlokas easily, so that one can refer back to them quickly on selective basis.Overall the best one so far that I have come across on The Bhagvad Gita.Must Buy.
