hard to remove and always getting stuck does anyone have a suggestion on how to remove this cable from the ports?

Get a better cable. I have had mixed results with Amazon cables. With that said, depending on the use of the cable, you may not want the cable to come out easily. Additionally pay attention to the connector plug itself. There are a couple of types. There are videos on YouTube that show how to deal with hard to unplug connectors

Are the shields connected? One review claims they tested the cable and it wasn't shielded. Can someone confirm?
