Tough, no-frills bass bag
I have an old Englehardt plywood bass and the old bag fell apart. I got this one because I liked the price and didn't feel like spending a lot of money to hold a beat-up old bass. I've been hauling the bass in this bag to weekly rehearsals for several months now and it's still in great shape. The canvas is good and tough, the padding is minimal, but still better than the old bag, and the straps and zippers are sturdy and securely attached. The back pocket fits a standard orchestra folder. The front accessory pocket fits rosin, rag, tuner and endpin strap. My French bow gets a little lost in the bow pocket, but it should hold a German bow. This bag does not offer amazing protection or comfort but is a fantastic budget-conscious choice for schlepping a not-too-precious instrument .

Great Functional Design
I am thrilled with this case/gig bag! It fits my bass like it was made for it. It’s lightweight, made of a heavy canvas with just enough padding. The material is easy to get a grip on, not slick as some other bags inexplicably are. It actually has handles and straps where I need them to be and I really love the front zippered opening! I just got it today so I can’t attest to durability but it appears to be sturdily and well made. It only took seconds to cozy my bass into it and I didn’t have to lay the bass down to do it. This is a very reasonably priced, well made upright bass bag that I happily give 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up! 👍👍

Quality at a fair price. Does the job well!
Quality construction-front zipper makes it easy to put on and remove. Plenty pockets if you need. Padding is not real thick but it’s enough to protect my bass. I would recommend this bag if you move your bass around.

Bass Bag
Very sturdy bag and good zipper. The padding is a little thin

Functional and fits
Good looking and fit well on my Engelhardt C1 bass, not a whole lot of padding but seems to be enough for my purposes. It has handles where they should be and make it easy to maneuver when transporting. It even has shoulder straps...but those are to be used carefully. The headstock will not clear a doorway if on my shoulders. There is a large pocket on the backside that will accommodate sheet music, books, or spare string sets, a small on in front for other accessories and a pocket for a bow. All in all I am satisfied with this purchase

Great quality & zero issues
My cats had used my original case as a scratching post & I finally needed to replace it. I was moving out of state & needed a replacement that would survive the move & beyond. This one fit perfectly, and my cats havnt used it as a scratching post & I’ve had it for 2 years!

Very well made of good materials
Exactly what I was looking for. It fits my Eastman VB305 DB very nicely. I've never had/seen a bag with the zipper up the front middle but it seems to work fine, will just take a little getting used to putting it on - a little different than the typical side zipper. I am a professional jazz bassist and wanted a lightweight bag that was well made with good materials to carry my gigging bass to work. I am very careful with my instruments - always have been - and didn't want or feel I needed a super padded bulky 'puffy case'. When I started playing 50 years ago I had a bag that was just plain unlined canvas. I'm not going to run into door jams and such. My bass is in greater risk of damage when I am on stage and the bass is uncovered. The material of this bag appears 'bulletproof' and the seams, pockets, and handles are all well done. Great 'light' bag for the money.

What I was looking for!
The fabric of this bag feels very sturdy and the straps do too. Much better than you would think for 100.00. Also the pocket in the front is well placed and very roomy. I was worried I would not like the zipper down the middle but I love it and it is easy to put the bag on and zip up without having to put the hole think on the ground! It is thin with minimal thickness to the bag so it may not offer the protection that other bags might but it is light weight and easy to maneuver, and not over stiff. So, I bought this bag because I have 5/8 size bass (Shen SB190) and currently there are not bags for this size under 500.00. This bag is a little snugger than my 3/4 Gollihur bag and it is not as stiff. I have made a cushion to sit at the bottom of the inside of the bag and it pushes up the little bass almost 2 inches. I plan on snugging down the straps on the back, this way the body of the bass will not slip around too much. This still leave the neck of the bag a bit too long, so I will hand stich across the top of the bag pulling the two seams together. So for my 5/8 Bass, This will be perfect.
