**Q: How long does it take for the intense burnt plastic smell to go away? It's overpowering.**
A: After 4 months we decided to toss it, but Amazon agreed to a return.  The smell is AWFUL.  I kept it in the closet when not in use because it stunk up the bathroom, then the closet was permeated with the smell. I've soaked it, put it outside, etc to no avail.  Maybe ours was defective, but I would not recommend.

**Q: What is this mat made out of (e.g. plastic, dyes, etc.)?**
A: Plastic.  And it does not stick well.   Very disappointed

**Q: That style of plug it covers. Does it prevent plug being pressed when kneeled?**
A: No it does not

**Q: Where are the drainage holes?  am i missing those in the pix?  also is it soft on feet? thanks ☺**
A: It’s very soft. It’s a suctions on the bottom.  No drainage holes.

My child loves this in the bathtub and I am constantly asking him the alphabet while I am bathing him. He is 17 months old and this is helping me teach him. It also ensures he doesn’t slip while in the tub. The grip is sturdy and keeps him safe. I spray it off after the shower and the water runs under it so it prevents water from collecting under it.
