RMS Washable Reusable Incontinence Chair Pad (Ruby Red)

I'm pleased. It's absorbent. It does what it says.
I take them everywhere. I fold the pad an place it in a bag or large purse. I use them for Mom. Works great in a wheelchair. In the car. On the car seat it does slide around a little but that can be a plus when turning mom to get in and out of the car. Visiting family & friends I sit the pad on the furniture first to protect it from leakage then I sit mom down. I use the pads at home and at the dinner table. They are a little large for the dinner chairs but the work as designed. To clean I sometimes hand wash in sink or place in washer on gentle cycle and dry on medium heat. I just learned this I formation after I've had these pads for several months. *A good tip.*Put on 2 depends and that will minimize leakage. Tear off the one closest to the skin and pull the 2nd depends up to the 1st position and put on a another set of depends Keep roatating upward as the one closest to the skin gets wet The 2nd depends keeps the clothing from getting wet. You're not going through a lot of depends, you're not having to change them as often and you're not having to wash clothing as often. Also put 2 depends on them before they go to bed this minimize wetness and possible bedsores.

Color very innacurate
I orignally bought this ruby red chair pad a few years ago. Yes, it served the test of time. I wanted to give my invalid a fresh looking pad for his big chair. I was delighted to see a listing for the same item, and in the same ruby red color as before - so I bought another. I've just opened it as a gift for him and discovered that the color is PINK - which does not coordinate with the gentleman's room at all. It's now 1 week past the return date; he's very disappointed and so am I Can I still swap the pink pad for a ruby red??? The PINK pad has never been used. I can send pictures of both, it that helps. This may be a manufacturing error- because the color doesn't match the listing and it doesn't match my earlier purchase

Ruby Red it's NOT
This is the weirdest color... the pad itself is a purple-wine color which is okay, but the trim around it looks hot pink!. It really doesn't match anything. Ruby it is not, and it's certainly not red. It's not that comfortable either... I've been sitting on it for a couple of weeks now, and it's starting to curl on the edges. I guess if you wash it often it would probably work itself out, but I have yet to have to wash it. Otherwise, it's an okay pad.

Sturdy reusable Incontinence pad that is washable
I bought 4 of these in Ruby Red. The pads work well as a cover to preserve the wheelchair pad. The long term care facility nursing staff like them very much because it does work as expected. I like them because I do my mother's laundry and these are easy to wash. I dropped a star because Ruby Red is more a purple wine color than ruby red. My mother's nickname is Ruby so we buy Ruby Red items when possible as nod to her signature color. The pads are well made and do not breakdown with multiple washing.

REALLY LIKE THIS ONE
Soft to touch. Pretty. Seems well-made. Good fit for our use. We have three different types and this is my favorite. We use it over a pretty blanket on a recliner. It seems to hold the blanket in place fairly well. We have not had to wash it yet. Update on 3/9/19 : Washed and dried in dryer and came out intact and appears same as before washing/drying. This remains my favorite pad.

Work as advertised.
They do protect you upholstery but they are not very big. My mom is 100% incontinent so I have to judge carefully before taking her out. If going to be out too long I cover these with a disposable underpad.

slip in lift chair
These had been working OK untIl we needed to use them in a lift chair. When lift chair was up the pad slipped and mom fell to her knees. These are good but are too slick on the back sides. DO NOT USE IN A LIFT CHAIR...

Washable, thick and serve the purpose
I use these for my 17 year old Bischon as he's in diapers now and occasionally their are small leaks. They protect his beds and serve as changing pads for when I change his diaper.I can't say how they'd work for a person.Easy to wash, machine dry able on low and feel thick and comfy, not thin and cheap feeling at all.
