These cooling pads were a huge relief during postpartum recovery. Postnatal bleeding and soreness can be so uncomfortable, and these made everything feel much cooler and more soothing. They honestly felt like a breath of fresh air during a difficult time. If you had an episiotomy like I did, they may sting a little when you first apply them, but that feeling goes away quickly and, in my experience, it was completely worth it for the relief afterward. They helped me feel much more comfortable throughout the healing process. I would definitely recommend these to any new mom recovering after birth. They’re a postpartum essential!

I was first given these witch hazel pads at the hospital after giving birth to help prevent and relieve hemorrhoids, and they really helped me a lot during my postpartum recovery. The pads feel very cooling, soothing, and gentle, especially during those first uncomfortable days postpartum. They provided quick relief and made me feel much more comfortable. I ended up buying another pack because I liked them so much and have continued using them regularly. So far, they’ve worked really well and have been a great part of my recovery essentials. Overall, these are very helpful, easy to use, and definitely something I would recommend for postpartum care.

After my wife gave birth, we were on the lookout for something to help with her postpartum recovery. We decided to try Birchwood Laboratories A-E-R Pre-Moistened Medicated Cooling Witch Hazel Pads. These pads are larger than most, which was a big plus for us. They are pH-balanced and free from dyes, which made us feel comfortable using them. The pads provided a soothing and cooling sensation that my wife found very comforting. They are unscented and contain 12.5% non-greasy glycerin, which helped keep the area moisturized without feeling sticky. We appreciated that they are the same quality as those used in hospitals, which gave us confidence in their effectiveness. However, we did notice that the pads weren't as saturated as we expected. This was a minor issue, but it did mean we had to use them more frequently to achieve the desired effect. Despite this, the pads were easy to use and provided significant relief.

These are so much better than the Prep-H wipes. While these are smaller and maybe a little thinner, they don't tear when you go to get one from the container. I'm certain that at least 9 times out of 10 I will tear the Prep-H wipes. They also don't dry out like the Prep-H ones do. There's almost nothing worse then going for a wipe and finding that it will probably cause more irritation. Not with these pads, they're always moist. Finally, there's the relief factor. Ahhhhh! Just what you need for that tender area. Highly recommended.

I have ordered these before and found them to work. This most recent purchase doesn't seem to be the same quality ingredients. I did not find them as effective as other witch hazel wipes and I experienced increasing discomfort. Other witch hazel wipes seem to be more effective at managing hemorrhoid symptoms.

The description says 80 count,but yet you will only get a 40 count. I do believe even the second pic shows 2 packs. There is other brands that similar but cheaper.
