Heavy blade, nice solid "snap." *by R***W on July 3, 2020* OK, I love to collect blades. Have for decades, so never pass up a chance to pick up a new one. To be honest I was on the cusp between 4 and 5 stars, but the blade design moved me to a 5. So I'll start with the "bad" points. The clip can't be moved to the opposite side. The handle hardly has any texture. One of the hex bolts is about 1/16" from being flush and tends to snag when I use the clip. You need a healthy flip to open it fully and have it lock. You need to hear the snap. It's loud and clean, but if you rely on just the flipper and no wrist action, you may not get a reliable lock.On the positives, the knife is heavy - 5.5 ounces - and solid. It looks great and has an overall unusual styling, especially the blade. The blade looks slick open or closed and is held open with the common liner lock. The liner spacer is solid G-10, the same synthetic as the handle. As you can see in the photos, the handle is pretty solid - no skeleton or cut-outs here.There's a flipper on the blade as well as a thumb-catch. The blade is held closed by the popular ball-bearing detent method, so the thumb catch takes some effort. The flipper works well, and when combines with a little wrist action makes a pretty intimidating sound, almost like a small caliber slide.The blade has an unusual upward angle, while the handle has a gorgeous curve that fits perfectly in the palm. You can grip it in a variety of styles, and the flipper becomes a partial hilt when the blade is opened. The ribbing on the rear of the blade also makes a nice surface for your thumb. It also works well in a reverse grip, but a forearm grip is problematic because of the drop-point blade design.Really like this knife. It feels solid, it's well made and looks fantastic. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good EDC knife for a great price *by A***J on July 3, 2020* Love this knife! Got a winner of a knife for a great price. I love it so much that I got a second one to have in the event that something ever happens to my first one.Pros:Heavy, rugged construction.Strong, tight lock.Zero blade wiggle. (blade locks up super tight!)Strong, narrow tip.Ergonomic handle and jimping allow for a variety of comfortable holds.Fantastic steel. Gets shaving sharp and stays sharp for a long time. Just a few passes over some fine ceramic rods brings the edge back to razor sharpness even after heavy use.Super deep pocket carry (can be a bit difficult to get out of pocket).Cons:Bigger and heavier than expected, the handle is very wide.Handle texture could be a bit more aggressive for easier use with wet hands, a little slippery when wet.No lanyard hole.Right-side, tip-up, carry only.Strong bias to closed. The flipper action is stiff (especially for the first couple of hundred flips). Even after a break in period, the blade opening is somewhat stiff and requires a bit of finger strength to pop and lock the blade every time.Small thumb hole on top of blade is almost useless. Given the stiffness of the blade opening, its almost impossible to open the blade with just a thumb push, especially if wearing gloves, or with large fingers.Not quite enough tension on the pocket clip to keep it super secure in pocket. Works great with pants that have thick pocket seams, but knife can be a bit lose in pants with thin seams. ### ⭐⭐⭐ It's Okay handle ruins it for me *by D***E on March 17, 2021* So I like this knife. It deffinately isn't my favorite. The biggest turn off of this knife is the size of the handle it is super bulky and I am just not a fan of it.The blade steel is D2 which is good and it came sharp. The best thing I like about this knife is the deployment. It is one of the smoothest deploying knives I own. The did a really good job with the pivot.I would recommend buying this knife if you can get a deal on it.
