Works great
Works well with festool. Pads on bottom Coming off on one track which is annoying since Iโm very particular about caring for the tracks. So itโs a cheaper product but it works fine.

Exactly like the Makita track
I was sceptical by the price point, but these tracks are almost identical to the Makita tracks. I had two short Makita tracks but needed the long size for 8' rips on job sites. Joining these two works perfectly, plus you get the case for about 2/3 the cost of one long Makita track. The only thing I've noticed is that the adhesive on the rubber rip edge is not quite as good. But that can easily be replaced when needed.

Much better than the Milwaukee track rails
I use Festool and Milwaukee. Although Festool has a slightly better product in general, I really enjoy the convenience of the Milwaukee batteries. Pros compared to Milwaukee: - the biggest pro by far is the rubber splitter, itโs way better!! Itโs thicker and more rigid and feels like itโs apart of the track rather than a piece of crappy door seal. Iโve replaced the rubber splitter twice on Milwaukee rail. It peals off when the slightest amount of dust gets in there or warm weather releases the tape. - slides a lot easier due to the ribs in the plastic sliders. - grips better to cutting service. Cons so far: - very slightly out of square on one of the edges. Meaning you just have to double check when connecting them end to end to get a perfectly straight line.

Adhesive is awful.
This product arrived out of the box in bad condition. I should have returned it. The rubber that allow the saw to slide easily along the track were barely attached to the track. I had a job I had to get done so I used it, but it got worse over time. If it arrives with the rubber peeling This product arrived out of the box in poor condition; I really should have returned it immediately. The rubber strips that allow the saw to slide easily were barely attached to the track. I had a job that needed to get done so I used it anyway, but the issue only got worse over time. If yours arrives with the rubber peeling, return it right away. It won't adhere itself over time or get better on its own. I wish I had spent the extra money on the Makita brand instead. Iโd only recommend these if they arrive intact; otherwise, get your money back quickly.om the track, return it. It will not get better by itself. I wish I spend the extra money for Makita brand. I'd somewhat recommend if they arrive intact, if not get it back quickly.

Terrible product and no customer service
Guide rail arrived without connectors and hardware. Rubber grips on bottom of guide peeling off. Clearly it was returned as saw dust and dirt on product. Powertec customer service is terrible! They do not answer calls, reply to voice mail or email. Finally reached Adriana who refused to send replacement for damaged guide or send missing hardware because it came from Amazon. Amazon customer service sends me to Powertec.

Good Value but with a few manufacturing issues
This Powertec track has all of the same features as the more expensive Makita version. It holds the XPS01 track saw and slides with no issues and supports the anti-tip lock needed for bevel cuts. The rails arrived true and connected together with no issues. There is some minor slop where the saw attaches to the rails. Being new to track saws, I can't say if this is normal or poor tolerance. I'm aware of it and will be sure to push the saw against the track when cutting. The Powertec kit (2x55" rails, 1 carry bag, 1 connector spline set) was delivered with two manufacturing issues: 1) the bottom glide strip on one rail was loose and had lifted so the adhesive side was on top of the saw track; and 2) the case's Velcro strap ends were sewn together so they couldn't surround the track in the carrying bag. I was able to reposition the lifted glide strip and it now seems secure. Getting all the deposited adhesive out of the track was a pain (Thank You Goo Gone, but minus one star). Some careful pulling separated the Velcro strips from where they were incorrectly over-sewn. Both of these problems should have been caught with a better quality inspection. One difference from the Makita OEM version is the design of the guide connector splines. The Makita uses two thinner splines and the set screws push them apart to secure the track. The Powertec uses a single spline and the set screws deform the aluminum of the track itself. The Powertec spline design requires inserting the two splines so that the set screws on one are facing up and the other facing down. You have to tighten the four up set screws and then carefully flip the rails over to tighten the other four. More cumbersome than I imagined. For my homeowner use the Powertec splines are adequate... even though not ideal.

Perfect!
Love this track with my Makita track saw. Works great, no alignment issues, track is true. Fits together nicely, and really is simple to use. Wish I had this years ago!

two halves of the track do not connect together flush
I build model railroad layouts for AffordableModelRailroads.com and rip a lot of plywood sheets in to 4.5" x 96" strips for the benchwork frames as well as other sizes for the benchwork tops. If you only use one 55" section this track it is fantastic, it fits my Metabo track saw perfectly; however, when you try to put the two sections together to be able to rip a full 8' plywood sheet it has a design flaw. It has two bars that slide into grooves to hold the two pieces together, the problem is instead of them being one on the outside and one on the inside edges to keep the two pieces flush across the seam the two bars are one on the top and one on the bottom and they are on the same edge. This makes the two pieces prone to flexing ant the seam and creating a seam with a "ridge" that the saw needs to travel over and if you are not very careful the saw can catch on that ridge an hang up and give you a bad cut and over time you get little nicks in the edge where the two pieces seam together. If they would have put the connecting bars on both edges instead of just one like most other brands have this problem would not exist...such a logical thing I don'e know how they missed this in the design.

I own the dewalt track and this one and it works just ask good

Straight and functional. Be aware that the joint hardware just uses set screws, not the dual expanding plate design on more expensive options. Seems to work fine though but does leave little marks on the aluminum.

The assembled of this track was very rushed and poor. Pieces were taped with double sided tape and strips were miss aligned. Had to peel off and fix myself. For this much money, disappointed

Absolute garbage. Bought these a few weeks ago and only got to testing them yesterday, anti splinter rubber literally falling off. The non slip tape is a complete joke, impossible to use without clamps. For comparison I used a friend's makita rails, no clamps for full length rips on mdf and they don't budge at all. Don't buy, spend the extra few quid and get real Dewalt rails
