Brewing Up a Storm (A Moonstone Bay Cozy Mystery Book 6)

Unattractive
Mostly I enjoy these. But Hadley randomly becoming a nosy, spoiled entitled brat who trampled over her friends' feelings part way through and it merely treated as a "cute" thing was gross and really spoiled the rest of a generally good story for me.

Hadley is a brat
I can't be the only one that found Hadley to be completely unlikable and just unreasonable in this book, she's nosy yes but not like this in the previous books. She's just completely unable to understand why something is none of her business. She's horrible in this book. And Galen, she's. He has now turned into Jack/Jared/Kade where they are so panicky over their love that I picture them hopping from foot to foot, crying and practically wetting themselves with worry. Sad. And the big "battle/climax" was a letdown. I love this series because it was different from the others and Galen wasn't a nervous wreck, Hadley wasn't a spoiled brat, but now that's what they've turned into. Hopefully the next book they will go back to their original personalities.

Selfishness
Could not even finish this book after all the nosiness Hadley had into Booker's love life. She thinks she deserves to know everything and control everybody. She needs to grow up or she will be like Galen's mother or dead.

Great series
I love love loved this series. Can't day enuff about it. Wish there were more books. Hate waiting for the next chapter, so to speak. Hadley does get a bit aggravating with her constant whiney, child like ways. Like when she does the whole butting into Bookers life. Or when she pouts to Galen until she gets her way. But I adore the way Galen loves her. And the paranormal aspect is awesome. Can't wait until the next book.

Love this series
Another wonderful read in the Moonstone Bay series. To be completely honest I love all of Amanda M Lee's books (and her pseudonym, Lily Harper Hart's) but I love some more than others. The island the characters live on is both charming and a bit creepy, the characters are a lot of fun, the mystery is, well, mysterious, and the ending, just fabulous. I would advise reading from the beginning of the series if you haven't read the earlier books - you won't regret it.

Fun, entertaining
As always, love escaping to Amanda M Lee’s world for a while. Another great story with great characters! Hadley and Galen make a great team, along with their friends who help them face their latest adventure. I enjoy seeing their relationship grow closer and for Hadley to grow in her confidence, magically and otherwise. Looking forward to the next book in this series - fun characters and story line.

Wonderful Story
Hadley is once again drawn into a mystery, a ship that went missing over a year ago has turned up and people who were on that boat are turning up, some with amnesia, some dead. Galen is concerned that Hadley will get herself killed rushing forward in the investigations. There is a lot of action and plenty of plot twists. A fun read.

Looking forward to Book 7!!!!!
As usual I loved this book! Yes I want to smack Galen upside the head and tell him to chill out but that’s one of the things I love about this series! I love books that can draw me in emotionally and either make me really hate or love the characters and Amanda has hit the nail on the head again with this one! She has a way of drawing in my senses and making me hear, feel, smell and experience the story! I’m a landlocked beach gal who misses my FL beaches so being able to escape back to the beaches while reading is something I truly enjoy! Can’t wait to read the next book!
