I paid $98 for it. It has been working perfectly since July 2020. The previous year, I paid an AC company $850 to replace the fan motor on another unit and found out later how easy it is to do, and how much money I would have saved. I also replaced the capacitor, which cost me about $20. Plenty of online videos to learn from. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It Works on an 18 Year-Old Goodman *by A***N on September 5, 2020* This motor is a four-speed with a higher-rated rpm than my old two-speed motor. Using the 'High cable' for Cooling resulted in an unacceptably high fan speed that sounded like the spin cycle on a washer machine! Using the 'Medium-High' cable for Cooling provided the right fan speed for my old system. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect replacement, but don’t throw out the old screws *by M***T on September 23, 2020* Ordered this as it was the exact replacement for the fan motor in our 2012 Goodman AC condenser unit. All the specs on the label matched perfectly (RPM, amps, poles (8P), direction, hp, speeds (1sp), etc). Price was reasonable. The replacement is made in Vietnam. The original does not say where it was made.There are videos on YouTube of how to replace the motor on a Goodman unit. Search for that, as there are some good tips there. It’s not a hard job if you are prepared and take your time.Our original motor was making a bit of a scraping noise. After replacement and also cleaning of the fan blades, the AC is once again purring quietly when in operation. Very happy with this perfect replacement.Important: keep the four nuts and washers from the original motor. The new one does NOT include them.
