**Q: How far apart are the mounting holes?**
A: Three and a half inches.

**Q: Will this work if I’m adhering to flagstone**
A: I am not if it will adhere for a prolonged period of time. I am sure it would adhere short term. Your best bet would to anchor it with 5the supplied screws and anchors. If you don't want to drill holes in your flagstone, your options are going to be limited, no matter what you are trying to mount on your wall.The manufacturer's instructions say to use only on flat hard smooth surfaces. That is the best I can you. Good luck.

**Q: Is there a specific brand of these tapes to buy new 3m adhesive tape? does this company sell these tapes separately? if not, where can i buy them?**
A: I purchased double-sided tape, 1 roll

**Q: Are the edges smooth?**
A: Yes they are. The bottom underside edge of the shelf where it is downward at a 90 degree angle is not sharp but warrants being careful. But it’s smooth. I still really like that it will hold the mega roll equal to 4 regular rolls.
