Fisher-Price Thomas & Friends MINIS, DC Super Friends #1 (9-Pack)

These little trains are fantastic! What a great way for mothers, like me, to give a little extra Thomas The Train to our children at a much lower price. At four years old this has become my son's first collection. He has so much fun with these trains and he is able to play with them on different track he owns. The best part is that they are great for throwing in my purse and he has entertainment at the docters, on a trip any place a child gets bored. I would defanitly buy these again and I do recommend them to family and friends.

Our grandson ran around excitedly, yelling "mini's" when he unwrapped this set. He has a lot of the regular sized Thomas, so we weren't sure what he would think of these. Size didn't matter to him. They are small, and from memory, I think they are about 1 1/2 inches long, are brightly colored. We purchased the track set, where these little trains actually go upside down, so this was a big hit with all the grandsons-ages 8 on down to 4.

This is a very cute set & the details on all the trains are perfect. I ended up using this pack of minis as cake toppers on my sons birthday cake. Minis work good for that. We are huge fans of Thomas Minis! These were a new addition to our much loved collection. Toss them in your purse and they make a great travel toy. Apply a piece of tape to a table or even an airplane tray and you have instant "track". Yes, they are small, but they are well made. We have not had one broken yet. We also own some of the new playsets (Motorized Thomas Minis Set) and even the Thomas Minis Launcher! Great fun with wheels that move! Can't wait for more mini playsets and track!

I ordered the DC superfriends trains, but received power rangers theme instead.

My boys never seem to tire of these tiny trains. We started with a few from the the local store, then purchased the advent calendar for them at Christmas time here on Amazon and the joy on their faces when opening the windows to see which one was next was priceless. We then also ordered these DC minis for Christmas day, and they were still equally excited to receive them. We didn't buy any other accessories at first other than the storage wheel to hold them, and that built in track proved to be plenty of entertainment. The grandparents purchased the Thomas Minis motorized track for our oldest for Christmas, and it has been played with nearly non-stop since then. We are so happy with the quality of these fun but inexpensive items and would highly recommend! I will definitely be stashing some new ones to award as potty training prizes in the near future!

When you watch the commercial for this item, the trains go so quickly and swiftly around the track and it really looks appealing and fun. The reality is, the trains get stuck on the track very often, jamming the flow of the trains. As a mother, it's frustrating because this is something my son wanted so badly and now that we have it, he wants to play with it constantly and they keep getting stuck. My son doesn't understand why. I don't want to deal with a crying toddler all day. I don't recommend this toy at all. It's very disappointing, buy your child something else
