Innovations HydroPack Bucket Water Filter

For whatever reason this product was sold to me with an expiration date of 8/12. I purchased this in November, why was this shipped having been expired for 3 months? This is disappointing because I wanted to put it in storage for emergency use.As far as the actual product, hopefully works as advertised past expiration date.

Not sure how i found out about this, but I ordered it and gave it a shot. I left a bucket out overnight and if filled about six inches with rainwater, mixed with leaves and other stuff inside. I put the pouch in the bucket around 10 pm and checked it the next morning at 6 am, and it was about 80% full. I am not sure if it gets more full than that, but the directions say not to leave it more than a certain amount of time, and as I was leaving for work, I pulled it out and stuck it in the frig.I tried it later than night - pretty tasty - a little more flavor than gatorade.Would recommend it - just hope that whoever did the testing did it correctly (but NASA seems to have used their technology, so that gives me some hope!)
