He loves it! Thickness is pretty thin actually for 8 strands of rope being twisted to make it. It casts well, and you don’t have to worry about breaking your line incase you snag a tree (we tested that too) . The color is pretty and vibrant. The size of the spool is about average. And knots hold really well. The braided line is 15 pounds, we’ve caught catfish off of it and trout over 15inches so far.
