I purchased this thermometer in the spring of 2022 to use with a smoker I purchased on an impulse the previous fall. I smoked exactly one brisket, which took almost an entire day (Learning curve, I ran out of charcoal) and turned out fantastic. The thermometer worked great, was easy to view temperatures and set limits for each of the probes to notify me.Now, 2.5 years later, I decided to smoke another brisket, but realized I had left one of the probes outside in the weather this whole time. I got everything set up, plugged in the probe, and it still worked perfectly. The batteries which came with the unit are still good, and have not leaked during storage. I'm going to call this a win, and am very happy with this purchase.

I've had this thermometer for a little over a year now. I use it atleast 3 times a month for quick cooks like chicken breasts, and chops(20-30 minutes) and have used it in my smoker for ribs 5-6 times(6-8 hrs each) and a brisket(14 hrs). It's accurate, easy to use, and the batteries last forever I'm still using the original batteries. The range on the reciver seems very good. I often have the reciver set up 40-50 feet from the thermometer with 2-3 walls between them. I'm yet to not have a connection.My only very minor complaint is that the probes tend to stick in the meat and the aluminum part can be difficult to clean after using in a smoker for several hours.

It works fine.Seems to be accurate and fast enough.I don't like the timer setting - it's counter intuitive.

Originally I ordered a totally wireless set, some delivery mishap delayed it, so ordered this same day delivery for free.I was expecting some IK thermometer for this cheap if a price. I was pretty surprised how well they work. Reading is with a degree of my manual instant read thermometer, and the portable display worked great inside the house.Had a big grilling weekend planned, and these saved the day! Between these and my Masterbuilt wired ones, I had enough to finish cooking a ton of items.The ambient reader works great in a meatloaf too.Took a little messing around to figure out the settings for each probe, but once I got it, worked out very well.

I like cooking meats on my Oklahoma Joe smoker, but the included temp gauges are junk. I needed something more accurate and I also wanted some versatility. I didn't want to have to be anchored to my smoker to keep a careful eye on temps, so a wireless option was perfect solution! Now I can relax and watch T.V. or do chores around the house without worrying about my meats getting cold are being overcooked. Each component displays temps in bold digital numbers, and a backlight is activated when you press any button, which makes it easy to see in darker conditions. There are just enough buttons to easily navigate options and the layout is pretty intuitive. It only took me 5 minutes to figure out how to operate the thing, which is nice because I hate reading instruction manuals.Multiple probes can be individually set for different meats and temp tolerances, which is useful when you're smoking more than one type of meat. The range of the wireless connection reaches all through my 1600 Sq. ft. house with no problems, and not having to download an app is great! Other wireless temp gauges that require an app also include an uncomfortable level of permissions on your phone, and I know some have spyware on them. No thank you!Each component feels rugged like they would easily survive a short fall if you dropped it, although it shouldn't be a problem because the surface is rubberized and offers excellent grip and convenient hooks on the backside. It gets dirty very easily and will be a pain to clean, but honestly this isn't an issue for me. Grilling or smoking aren't clean activities anyway.The only thing I don't like is the high/low alarm, which is loud and a bit annoying, but I can't take any stars off for that because the thing is just doing its job and it can be muted. I just wish there was a volume control.

Completely changed how we BBQ. Everything we’ve used it on comes out perfect. The units connect very quickly and the distance of the connection is excellent. I like to have the the thermometer (not the meat thermometers) but I couldn’t calibrate it per the instructions. Either that or it was way off! The only things I don’t like are: 1. The max temperature for the thermometer is 572°. It always goes over that, so maybe it needs to be calibrated? 2. The suggested temperatures are very conservative. I almost always change them to something less. Overall, a very good product and highly recommend!

I've only had it a couple hours but it seems to work very well. To test it, I turned on my traeger and used the ambient temp probe for the grill, located outside on back patio, and the hand held device readings reached down to my finished basement in the furthest corner. This'll be a game changer!

I mainly use the thermometer when I roast in my Kamado grill. No more clock watching and running in and out to check the temperature. I can monitor the meat and grill temperature from the comfort of the lounge or kitchen and be notified when the grill falls outside of my set range and when the desired meat temperature is reached. Excellent product at a great price.

Great range - can easily sit inside and monitor the smoker at the bottom of the garden.Nice, long leads from probes - can keep the plastic bodied unit away from the heat source.All round very pleased with the results I've been getting.
