MADE IN THE U.S.A.!!!!!!!!
So many reasons to LOVE Big Barker pup beds: * made in the U.S.A.! * live customer service reps! * excellent product quality! * unsurpassed warranty (TEN YEARS!!)! * THE very best reason: MY PUPS LOVE IT! Seriously, I've been there...I've done it...I've bought MY rescue pups crazy amounts of pup beds over the years...ones that are fluffy, ones that warm up, ones that have "support", ones that cool down, oversized ones, ones with cool looking covers, round ones, ones lined in fleece, ones lined in woolly fabric, long ones, ones for road trips, ones for summer, ones for winter...I'm telling you, I've tried them ALL!! But ALL of them have failed in one way or another...They stop warming up, they stop cooling down, they go flat, etc etc. STOP THE INSANITY like I did and purchase the LAST & BEST pup bed you'll ever buy: The Big Barker! Yes, it IS a lot of money and yes, it SEEMS to be the best plan, at the time, to purchase a $60.00 pup bed, instead of spending $200.00+ for a Big Barker, but it's NOT the best plan! In the long run, it's an awful plan!! I've EASILY spent over $1,500.00 in the last 10 years on pup beds for the pups I've rescued and I'm so mad at myself for that! You see, I rescue pups & kittens that people dump out in our rural area...I take them to be fully vetted, spayed/neutered, food, heartworm meds etc etc out of my own pocket...I'm not part of a rescue group, no one gives me donations...I'm just a person that loves animals & does my part to get them everything they need & find them loving homes. It makes me happily humble to do it! BUT when I think of the money I've wasted on the pup beds for my own rescue pups that I could've been using to help more abandoned animals, I'm just heartsick! Stop throwing away your money, stop living a disposable life, stop filling up landfills with JUNK FROM CHINA...buy ONE BED...The Big Barker, so YOU can save your money and spend it instead on what makes YOU happy! Your pup and their no-longer-aching-bodies will thank you!!!! (P.S. The picture of Pecos & DQ is exactly 36 seconds after I put down their Big Barker giant-sized bed down for them to lay on) UPDATE: We STILL adore our Big Barker and more importantly, so do our pups! But after taking the cover off to wash it, I noticed that the foam had two perfect spots of "dirty" where our pups lay the most, so I decided to use my vacuum's attachments to see if it would suck the dirt up before I tried to wash the area. Sure enough, by using a light hand (you don't want to tear the foam, so be gentle and take your time!) the dirt sucked right up! There's a "W" where I just started to vacuum it)

Best dog bed I have seen (and we have had 4 Great Danes over 17 years so I know what I'm talking about)
This bed is amazing. We have two great danes, one is 200 pounds and the other is 160 pounds. We ordered the giant size and both dogs can fit on the bed. Unlike some of the other reviews, our dogs had no problem immediately getting on the bed and settling in as soon as it was out of the package (but that is typical for them with new beds). We had been using the mammoth dog beds with memory foam prior to this and this product is really far superior. The foam is twice as thick and they do not sink at all when they are lying down. Before this we had two mammoth dog beds piled on top of each other and after a few years of use, the foam had compressed and they really sank into it and you could still feel the hard floor somewhat beneath the bed. This Big Barker bed is like lying on my Tempurpedic - you just feel the bed and can't tell you are on the floor. I wish this had the bolster that completely surrounds the bed like the mammoth dog bed because our guys really like that style, but that is my only complaint. This is incredibly comfortable which I really appreciate for our geriatric danes. I had to hunt around for the giant size waterproof liner (our guys are old and I want to be able to clean up any messes easily). I couldn't find it on amazon but bought it directly from the Big Barker website. It arrived almost as quickly as the Amazon prime order for the bed. They have really great customer service and there was a nice set of instructions that came in the box.

Not the right support for a 150 lb dog
My dog is uncomfortable after sleeping on the Big Barker. Lots of money spent and he now won’t sleep in it. He’s 150 lbs so I purchased the largest Big Barker XL. Can you advise how if I can return it to you for a refund? Sorry but it must be to soft and doesn’t provide enough support. I’m sure the smaller ones are suitable for smaller dogs. It’s just not supportive enough for a great big boy. Return options or can you send a topper for it free of charge that may provide the support? Any ideas would be appreciated Clifford’s mom

Thank you Big Barker!!
Ok, so it's been less than week of receiving this bed. I bought it for my 14 year old dog who has hip dysplasia. She's been having a hard time of it for a bit and I was concerned we might be at the end... I could so how achey she was. She limped and started falling. Pretty scary!! Anyway, she slept on Big Barker bed the first night and the next day she was walking with more confidence. She still leaned and swayed a little with her back legs, but she seemed to have more pep. 2nd night, and then morning. She's getting up more, wants to be outside. The swaying and leaning had virtually stopped. She seems incredibly steady on her feet given just 2 days ago she was so miserable, I thought we'd come to the end. I know this isn't a cure all but this has proven to be worth it in maintain quality of life in my old do. Thank you Big Barker for making these beds. I had my reservations because of the expense, but I couldn't be happier with my purchase! Keep up the good work and don't sell out. You're doing something really great here!

If you love your furbaby, it’s worth the expense.
My fur baby is a130 lb Great Pyranese. When he sleeps, he likes to stretch his legs out behind him, but on his previous orthopedic bed, either his legs hung off or his head did. This one is big enough that doesn’t happen anymore. With the previous bed, even after just a few months, it was already starting to show a dip in the center from his weight. What was funny, though, was when our 2 yr old female lab mix decided to sleep on his bed, he would just get up and lay on the floor. Not anymore. The lab hasn’t even tried to get on his bed. Not once. If she comes around when he is on his bed, he won’t open his eyes, but you can hear a low grumble. I think that speaks for itself. I was really torn about getting my furbaby a good bed and spending that much for it, but he has shown me that he likes it well enough to be worth the price. In the long run, it will actually save me money because I won’t be replacing it so often.
