Gerber Training Pants, 18 M, White, (3 pack)

My son is right between needing Pull-ups and being completely dry. Because of the double layer, these offer much better leakage protection than the more commercial underwear. They are also much softer. The all cotton band does not cut into his stomach like some of the elastic in cheaper brands. I ordered them big because I have found Gerber to run a bit small, however, these seem to be true to size and the 3T is a little too large. If you are planning on using them solely for potty training, a plastic pant cover would probably be the safest route.

I purchased these in size 3T for my potty-training 33-mo. old son. He is starting to wear 3T pants/shorts. I misjudged sizing and thought he would fit into 3T underpants as well, but these run big and even after washing probably won't fit well until he's actually 3 this fall and already potty trained. But they are otherwise exactly what I expected. Basic white, good quality training pants with extra material/padding in crotch area to catch potential leakage. Would recommend.

The best thing for potty training. These pants are the tradition cotton potty training pants, very soft and comfy. Make sure you wash them before using, to wash away all the sizing, to maximize their absorbency. I recommend not using a liquid fabric softener in the wash to prevent ruining the 'absorbency factor'. I just use one bounce dryer sheet in the dryer for them. These will shrink a bit, as they are all cotton, so you may wish to buy one size larger, and do not overdry them. They are so so soft and they have a firm fit on the leg holes, so they will contain an accident. My little son always comments on how these training pants feel good on his skin. He says that they are so soft and "feel nice". A nice comment from a 3 year old, for sure. I also recommend using the "Waterproof Pull-On Potty Scotty/Potty Patty" pants over these, for a perfect potty training combination. This system for training was a big success for us. You will have some laundry to do initially, but the training went quicker, and I think it was the best approach for us. This system worked, after Pull-U[s did not! Once trained, your child can continue to wear the cotton trainers as underwear, and that's exactly what we are doing now. A win-win good trainer/underwear investment for us.

We used these when we started potty training our 2.5 yr old son. He's got chunky legs so I ordered the 3T which fit fine. I like that it's a no-frills basic and the extra padding in the crotch can catch the messy drips while he learns to be more precise and careful. However, after 3-4 weeks of using these the elastic on the waist seems to be deteriorating already. One of them stretched out so much that I threw it out (in fact, it seemed more like it snapped or broken). Now I'm inspecting the rest of the lot (we are rotating between three packs) and on a couple of them the elastic waist seems to be stretching out already. Not sure why. We do launder with hot water to get it clean, and tumble dry.

These are great!!! My son absolutely loves them!!! We purchased these as our firsts and they worked as expected. Very soft but do run very small. He's 2.5 yo, 34lbs and 36in tall and I ordered a 3T due to other reviewers saying they run small. Upon opening them, we tried a pair on and they fit perfectly!!! But once we washed them to actually start wearing them, they shrunk a bit (even on a cold cycle and a light fluff, low heat dry). They were still wearable and comfortable, just a bit more snug than I had hoped. If your child is around the same size as my son, I'd recommend going up to a 4T. Please note: ***Accidents do run down the leg and onto the floor, they are not meant to stop or catch an accident fully for the discomfort from having an accident in underwear is part of the training process. They are all cotton/cloth material and do not have the little water resistant plastic in the middle (which I find can be uncomfortable for little ones). I recommend these if you're training and prepared to constantly wash and rewash undies with accidents.

My almost 4 yr. old son had repeatedly refused to wear regular underpants, even with fun colors or designs. He knows how to go on the potty and did sometimes, but the pullups or diapers were just so easy for him; he didn't have to interrupt his play to go to the bathroom. I think the regular underpants were also just too different-looking and different-feeling than the diapers. Finally ordered these Gerber Training Pants and showed them to him, saying how soft they were and they were good for "practicing going to the potty now that he was such a big boy & too old for baby diapers". Yes, I've been adding daily doses of 'You're too old to be wearing diapers!' for some time now.So he's wearing these marvelous training pants and he likes them, apparently feeling proud to be acting like a big boy. Of course we've had accidents; he needs frequent reminders to go, but he is definitely improving each day. The training pants wash very well and feel very soft. I'm dressing him strictly in sweatpants every day now, as they, plus the socks on his feet, will absorb quite a bit, minimizing a puddle on the floor. I'm buying another set, as I think he will want to continue wearing these even after the 'training time period' is past.

These undies are perfect for potty training, I was very impressed with how much liquid they hold! No more worries when out in public (playgrounds, mall, etc) and there be an accident without the option of change of pants. They rarely leak past the double layers of padding, which make these undies extremely comfortable for my little ones. They actually request these undies as i think they like the extra padded feeling, also keeps their bums warm during the winter months:) These are also the best priced ones that I have found on the internet, Gerber knows what they're doing when it comes to potty training convenience and I have and will continue to recommend these to friends and family as the perfect potty training undies! My boy is 4 going on 5 years old and he still wears them, even though he's potty trained already, he just likes the comfortableness of them, so do yourself a favor and buy these, great product!!

These pants are perfect for toddlers. Just plain white with no patterns or colours or branding. Very comfortable for the little ones with a little extra padding to catch minor accidents.
