Can use for childproofing also. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars you should be filtering all Amazon reviews this way - it still doesn't eliminate the purchasers who were "given a discount in ex *by H***. on Reviewed in the United States on June 23, 2016* Warning: Sort by verified purchaser reviews only (by clicking "see all reviews" and then sorting by "verified purchasers only") and you'll see the 60+ reviews that seem mostly positive are quickly reduced to just 11 reviews that are mostly negative and actually honest (by the way, you should be filtering all Amazon reviews this way - it still doesn't eliminate the purchasers who were "given a discount in exchange for an 'honest' review" but it does get rid of the complete garbage reviews by paid people who have no experience with the product). Anyhow, the truth is, these straps are not what they seem. They are very cheap feeling, slippery straps that EASILY pull right through the plastic buckles with a light tug on the piece of furniture they're attached to, quickly building up swinging/falling momentum that likely is capable or ripping out the included and [horribly] cheap screw anchors and will certainly allow all drawers to open hastily. Even if these straps somehow held in a real tip-over incident, the slamming-open drawers will surely knock down your toddler... or worse. And now let's talk about the instructions and included hardware. 1) No instructions are included, and the "photo" of instructions is not accurate and includes no information about the included hardware. 2) The hardware included is all wrong -most doesn't even fit the actual mounts they are meant for. Screws are either too big or too small, washer is too small, nothing matches the "instruction" photo and you end up having to purchase screws that are actually appropriate. Beyond the phony-ness of this whole product and review debauchery, even using your own screws, the mount design that goes on the back of the furniture won't work on most furniture! The triangle screw pattern and large plastic mount are way too tall to be able to screw into furniture with largely thin wood backing, like dressers, desks, bookshelves and... anything you would possibly want to use these for. Send these and their crappy seller packing back to China. I only wish there were some sort of instructions included. Do I need a diagram on how to drive a screw into a wall? No. But, it would have been nice to get some tips or indication advising which end is most effective attached to the furniture or to the wall. When it comes to child safety, I would appreciate some advice on what works best.
