Rotating clear guard to desired position works smooth with enough tension to stay in place. The overall location of shield is in a good location for deflection of cut off/grinding debris. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars A Dremel Clone *by R***D on Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2021* I compared it to the Dremel A550 eye guard version that came with my Dremel 8220 tool accessories and it is virtually identical except for no Dremel name on the clear plastic guard. Even fits the spot in the case that is designed for the Dremel guard. Also fits the old Dremel 395 model but due to the large diameter of the eye guard there is a step up between the tool front and the eye guard when installed. The guard threaded black part is larger in diameter than the original 395 nose piece. It is actually a better fit on my Black & Decker RTX rotary tool than on the older Dremel rotary tools. The documentation included refers to it fitting JIE GONG rotary tools but then lists tool numbers which mostly match Dremel rotary tool model numbers. The JIE GONG guard model number is also the same as the Dremel eye guard number per the included documentation. IMO you cannot get more cloneish than that. This shield is small, but it is right above the cut, so it is very effective. None of the plaster flew up to hit my glasses or dust mask.
