How thick are the hooks? I need to slip them through chain links.

The ones I bought the material thickness measures just a hair under 6mm diameter or in inches exactly .223" using a caliper. Not '0.25cm' or even 3/16" (which is equal to .1875"). And, Yes, I am an engineer.

Why are you showing this product in the climbing category and alongside a photo of a climber? these are rated at 264lb and not uiaa certified.

These are not for climbing. I would recommend under the product description there is a report the product and mention that. Using a non-certified carabiner climbing is very dangerous.

If using two hooks to hang. Swing, would that double the load capacity of a single hook?
