Perfect for LX470

I purchased this filter for my 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser. It came with 2 panels that stack together. Fortunately, I already had the air filter box and I just had to throw these in and put the cover back on. Dust is considerably less and I feel it was worth installing.

Installed in my 330,000 mile Lexus lx470 fit great.

They fit perfectly on my LX470, so couldn’t have asked for a better product and a fair price.

Installed these on my 1999 Toyota Landcruiser, and they fit perfectly. Toyota wanted $25+ each, so $18 for a pair of quality Denso filters was quite the savings. Considering my 100 series was 55k in 1999, it didn’t have any filters installed from the factory. But the slot to install the filters was present behind the glovebox. Some 100 series owners state they have the slot, other do not. You can purchase the cover with the slot from Toyota, if your LC doesn’t have the provision from the factory.

These are good OEM quality filters which will fit a standard Lexus LX470, or a Toyota Landcruiser 100 Series with the air box modification performed. (Described on the IH8MUD forum.) You must perform the full mod, removing part of the plastic partition located midway across the air-con evaporator. Then the filters will fit the same as the LX470. These filters have a single full-length element panel. - They do NOT have a frame divider part way across the filter element (shown in the photo), so they cannot be cut short to fit an air-box which still has the unmodified evaporator partition.
