Great weldable hinges

Great product, easy to install and comes with grease fitting. Easy to install if you are handy with a welder. Used 2 on a 250 pound steel insulated smoker barn door. I used these t replace 7" barrel style hinges that were not greaseable. Certainly purchasing more to redo the rest of the hinges on my smoker.

I needed a bullet type hinge for a DIY propane furnace I was building that would allow me to easily rotate the lid to access the crucible. After spending a couple of days searching, I decided on this brand solely based on the pictures. When it arrived I was quite disappointed because of its triangular welding surface. Instead of sending it back, I decided to ask my neighbor who was going to weld it for me, and he didn't think it would be an issue. Once it was welded to me tank there was an issue with the clearance between the lid and the body of the tank that I was able to overcome by adding an additional washer on the pin. The only other problem I see is the amount of play in the two mating halves but, it's not a deal breaker for me. I do realize that these are not typically used for vertical loads so only time will tell.

Used these as hinges on a smoker. worked well, very nice piece

I spent a lot of time mounting these hinges, making sure everything was right, for a customer. The last thing I went back to do, the day I sent the invoice was head back to the job, load out all my stuff, and grease the hinges. The first one I greased broke right off. And then the second, third, fourth. No matter how gently I did it, they just break right off with almost no force. I'm afraid to even grease any of the others. Now I'm going to have to go buy all new grease fittings, and replace them all. I'm going to have to carefully and tediously get the broken pieces threaded out of the hinges. This is an absolute nightmare. These are garbage.

Have not installed at this time.
