Oh boy! This kitty carrier is fantastic. Straight out of the box I was impressed. It literally unfolds and you snap two clamps and its done. The door on the side folds down so you can easily access the area inside. The little bed it came with was so soft and plush, I love the colors of this carrier they are neutral and will suit a female or male kitty. Did I mention how incredibly easy this is to put together all while being very durable and escape proof. I love it. Teddie loves it too. Best value for my money hands down.

tl;dr: The absolute best pet carrier I've ever used, out of various styles and sizes. My only regret about this carrier is that I didn't find it sooner! PROS: --Flexible, lightweight plastic. I I initially mistook that for possible flimsiness compared to our rectangular carriers' hard plastic, but not at all. My cat has been in and out of this carrier repeatedly, logging nearly 3,000 miles in it on several long car trips and further miles on numerous short trips. The carrier's condition remains as good as when it arrived new. --Much easier to get my pet in and out, compared to a conventional carrier, even a top-loading one. Less stress on both sides. Unless a grown cat was regularly trained from kittenhood to be used to a carrier, it's a huge deal not having to fight an adult cat's natural instincts to resist confinement in a conventional carrier's design. --More space and visibility; my cat has plenty of room to stretch out without the larger upper volume and clunkiness of a rectangular carrier, with more light, and he can see out better. Also easier for me to see how he's doing, even from across a room. The triangle shape made me think it might be more crowded inside, but that's not the case. --Easy to carry; I was unsure about this at first, as the different shape and weighting felt new and strange. But after a few trials, I figured out the best way to carry it. It's like any carrier in that I wouldn't want to have to lug a cat in it very far on foot, but it's no more difficult than a rectangular carrier. --A real space-saver in that it easily folds up when not in use. CONS: None for me. I'd buy one again and will do so when our 2nd older carrier can't be patched together anymore. POSSIBLE CAVEATS for which I wonder if a conventional, harder-plastic, rectangular carrier might work better (?): --An unusually combative, terrified animal that is unable to settle down; the carrier's lighter weight might make it easier for a thrashing animal to knock itself and the carrier over or even pop the door open, I don't know. --Public transportation in general, unless the animal is mellow, calm, and unlikely to startle. --Air travel; I can't recall from the product description, but I don't think this meets commercial airline standards for pet-carrier construction.

Game changer!!! This is the first carrier my cats aren’t terrified by. I’d only used soft carriers and tried introducing a well-reviewed traditional box-style hard carrier with a top and front opening but the cats either remembered this type of carrier from when they were transported as kittens to the shelter where I adopted them or they just assumed this was a scary to-be-avoided cage. When I put these triangular carriers out on the floor, however, the cats were pleasantly curious about them, voluntarily walking in and out, checking them out etc. They didn’t resist when I placed and secured them inside for their vet visit, didn’t yowl in the car, and started kneading the carrier cushion bases when we arrived at the vet. Even after the cats got home from the vet and I left the cases out open on the floor, the kitties were still going in and out of them voluntarily. I think because the shape of these carriers looks so different, the opening is so large, and the slats are wide and made of plastic instead of the typical wire, the cats do not associate these carriers with past frightening carrier experiences. The carriers are also light for me to carry but sturdy enough to secure the cats (one cat is about 11 lb and the other is just under 13 lb and I purchased two in the standard size). The price point is very good imo too especially since it includes a decent-quality removable cushion. I’ve been looking for carriers that would be less stress-inducing for the cats (and by extension, for me!), and I’m so glad I found these!!

I was in the market for a new cat carrier and came across this one. The design was unique and I love the idea of something collapsible so I decided to give it a shot! What a cute carrier! It's super lightweight and she fits perfectly. I love how big the door is so I can put her comfortably inside even with a cone on. I prefer the color of the XL but this is good. The only negative is the structure's sturdiness. I can tell that any significant knock into the item will collapse the sides. For this, the item isn't great for air travel and I wouldn't want to be in an accident and rely on it to keep my kitty safe. But I really do love the design and hope that they come out with an upgraded version that's a bit sturdier with real snap-lock on the sides.

I bought 2 of these collapsible crates for my cats. I was looking for sturdy and space saving. They did not disappoint. When my cats get in them, they start making biscuits, which is a big deal. I had to take them to the vet recently for a check up, and I had 5 separate people ohhh and ahhh over the crates. Since they come in different sizes they'd work for cats or dogs. There is plenty of ventilation so the cats don't feel claustrophobic which keeps them more relaxed. The vet and techs commented on the crates in positive ways includingsturdiness and overall looks. In one visit, I think at least 7 people are looking to buy at least one of these SportPet crates. Very functional and good product for the price. No regrets on this purchase.

Just used for 1st time. Excellent!!! Well balanced. Folds back to box for storage. I have a cat that can shred everything. Secure no escaping, easy to snap together and strong.

So easy to use and it collapses for easy storage. Our cat seems to like it also as he didn't wail or want to get out if it.

I purchased this collapsible cat carrier and unfortunately discovered after a single veterinary visit that it is not safe for its intended purpose. I followed the manufacturer’s instructions exactly and ensured the side panels were fully locked into place before use. Despite this, while transporting my cat to the vet, the side panels were pulled inward from the inside and began to collapse, creating a serious risk of escape or injury. We had to change plans mid-trip because it was not safe to continue using the carrier. After this experience, I reviewed other customer feedback more closely and found numerous verified reviews describing the same problems, including: • Side walls collapsing inward during use • Locking mechanisms failing or not holding under normal use • Cats escaping at or near veterinary offices and parking lots • Veterinary professionals advising owners to discard the carrier due to safety risks My own veterinarian advised me not to use this carrier again due to the collapse risk. I also contacted the manufacturer directly. They were responsive, kind, offered a replacement, and shared a video demonstrating proper setup. However, even when assembled and locked exactly as instructed, the side panels did not stay secure when pulled inward, making this carrier unsuitable for my cat. Because this appears to be a design flaw rather than a one-time defect, a replacement would not resolve the issue. Several reviewers reported this happening even with small, lightweight cats, which makes the problem especially concerning. While I appreciate the manufacturer’s customer service, I cannot recommend this carrier due to the safety risks and would strongly caution pet owners who need a secure carrier for veterinary visits or travel.

I have had the big bulky ones and many others but this one is my favourite. It is very light and has decent space for the cat. The frame has metal wire in at the bottom to keep it strong and solid and the side latch is plastic but hard plastic and locks into place quickly and easily, the same for the top latch. It just folds down and sits in a cupboard until it is needed.

Me gusta que se abre por la parte de enfrente y también por arriba, es práctico guardarlo porque no ocupa espacio, tiene buen tamaño para mascotas pequeñas. Me costó un poco de trabajo cerrarla por arriba, los costados se doblan y tienen que embonar para cerrarlo. Incluye una cama que cabe perfecto dentro. Me gusta la calidad.

These are fantastic. We bought three ( 2 small and 1 large) for our three cats before a cross country move in a smaller car. The cats were napping in these a couple days after we bought them. Very easy to load and unload. Secure when carrying under load and fold up nicely when not in use. Good quality construction and great design. Definitely would reccomend and purchase gain.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Comfortable, access, I bought one before and my 2 kittens played round it like it was a playground. No hesitation buying a second the same as next trips require separate carriers. Ease of access: Easy mechanism. Dorr folds flat to floor so they can just walk in and out. No awkward lifting Addendum. The snap mechanism 'broke' on one clasp. When I looked the securing pin had dislodged a bit. I hammered this back in - good as new. I suggest checking the clasps regularly for this. Otherwise fabulous

The carrier looks small but it as quite enough space in it to have a regular sized adult cat in it comfortably. Make sure the clips that hold everything together are truly secure, the design makes it so it can be folded on itself if not used which is nice, but something to think about.
