1000 Piece Large Jigsaw Puzzle - Amsterdam, Netherlands - Puzzles for Adults and Teens - 29 x 20 Inches

First of all, I love the packaging; the box is sturdy with a high-quality image. My first attempt at trying out a puzzle with a destination image. I usually do jigsaw puzzles with pictures of plants and animals. The image is from Amsterdam, Netherlands, and it has beautiful colorful buildings that look like such a nice place to visit one day. The puzzle itself was not tricky, which I appreciated so much sometimes for myself; if a puzzle is too complicated, its not fun for me because it takes too long, and it's not fun to assemble. This puzzle has a lot of distinctive colors, and it was delightful to assemble. There are a lot of neat details, so it makes the puzzle even more entertaining. The puzzle pieces fit well together, and I didn't experience any fraying or issues with pieces fitting in the wrong spots. If I had to give this puzzle a rating from 10/10, I give it a 10 for the quality, colorful image, and ease of puzzling. I loved this puzzle, and I highly recommend it.

Fun puzzle to work. The pieces are shiny, which brings out the colors, and thick and sturdy. There's no poster in the box but the photo on the box works just fine. The sky is a little challenging but satisfying to finish - I suggest you work the sky under natural light to see the variations in shades of blue to help you place the pieces. Would buy other puzzles from this company and I'm looking forward to working this one again some day.

Puzzle comes in a sturdy box and the picture on the front is big enough to use as a reference. The image is bright and colorful, puzzle is challenging and enjoyable. Would make a great gift for any puzzle lover!

Beautiful and HARD puzzle! Not for sissies, but perfect for getting the family together. Unfortunately, it came with one piece missing & it was a border piece 😢

We bought this puzzle of Amsterdam as a way of learning about the city prior to a future planned trip to The Netherlands / Holland. The puzzle is well made with pieces that are precisely cut and fit well together. The colors are bright. We look forward to many pleasant evenings putting this 1000-piece puzzle together.

This was my first time to do a 1000 PCs puzzle. I enjoyed all of it but the sky, the pieces on the border could be used in different places in that portion and gave me trouble matching the inside pieces. Oh well, I liked all else about it! Thank you

This is the first brand spanking new puzzle that my wife and I have ever assembled that was missing pieces. The puzzle came sealed in a plastic bag and we looked everywhere, moving furniture, etc. but have to conclude it came that way from the manufacturer. Going back and rereading other reviews for this puzzle, it appears this is more common than I would have thought but seems to be a risk even with puzzles coming from other manufacturers. Maybe quality control and Covid puzzle demand are having this effect?The puzzle was a little more challenging than the picture suggested. My wife who really needed a distraction after knee replacement gave up when we got to the most challenging sky pieces. I had to resort to trial & error fitting many of those pieces to finish up, finding it too difficult to assemble by just looking at those pieces. Some pieces did appear to fit where on close inspection, you could tell that maybe they weren't in the correct spot however, that didn't seem to occur too frequently and seems maybe a normal occurance with any puzzle.We thought the picture was nice to work with - reflection from the gloss added to the challenge at times. We did not find the piece thickness to be a problem. At the end of the day, I feel there are better choices (the one we purchased from the Chiuly Glass gift shop ~ 2 years ("Floats") ago included a separate picture, no missing pieces and has been our favorite so far.)

This is a lovely puzzle, which my husband informs me is a bit more difficult than other 1000-piece puzzles he has worked on. He is enjoying the challenge! The pieces are a little thinner than others but the cutting is more intricate. He loves it.
