Lazarro 150-BU-L B-Flat Bb Clarinet Royal Blue-Silver Keys with Case, 11 Reeds, Care Kit and Many Extras

This was purchased for a first year beginning band student. He has had it approx. 5 months now, and we have had only a couple of problems. The thumb rest broke off and we had to super glue it back on, and one of the keys bent while putting it together. The band teacher tells him it is not the exact pitch when played, but for a first year student, that could be him or the clarinet. For a 'first instrument' I think this was a wise buy. He is able to make mistakes and learn on it, but if he decides to quit, we are not out a lot of money.

This was a blue clarinet we purchased. It plays well enough, but the clarinet teacher has to really work to play with my son as it is not in tune! I am told by the music store it is not really able to be repaired if something happens to it. When it arrived I applied liberal amounts of cork grease to the cork for multiple days (the cork was completely dry never been greased) and there were still parts that were difficult to put together and nearly impossible to bring back apart (really-really difficult, at times thought I'd never get them back apart). I ended up going to the hardware store for some fine wood sandpaper to sand a couple of the cork pieces so I now have an instrument that can be put together and be taken back apart with the normal amount of effort. I am told that when he plays for his school (next year) he will need a black instrument. It came with 10 of the 2.5 reeds, 2 reeds are a better for beginners (so I bought them separately). In a little less than 3 weeks of playing 30 minutes a day, a cork piece came off a key and I had to glue it back on.

My daughter loves it. It's the right color sounds, great, and it replaces the one that broke, Looks good.

Terrible product. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy for the price but I was expecting it to work. By the time we figured out that it was the clarinet that didn’t work and not just my son learning how to play it is too late to return it. On top of that, I have already had to replace the ligature after about two hours of play a week for a month because it broke too. I loved that we could buy a color but in hindsight I should have listened to the other reviews. Please save your money and do not purchase this!

Was very cheaply made, keys stuck , they didn't have a good one to replace it . They were prompt on refunding my money . Also nobody in town would work on it because I bought it online .

the build quality is good..but the supplied reeds are junk. you're better off going to a music store and getting replacement reeds of better quality. the reeds chip and break easily and that's why alot of you have to blow super hard into this.otherwise...not a bad deal for the price.
