Works better than expected... *by G***E on November 17, 2018* We just got back from a two week vacation to Cancun. We spent a lot of time in the ocean and the pool and no one got burned. Caveat, when using these kinds of sunscreens you need to first, moisturize your skin. These thick, zinc sunscreens will not go on well if you don't. I take along my own mix of oil in a spray bottle and spray first and then apply the sunscreen. Best way to apply is to squeeze a dollop of the stuff in your hands, rub your hands together and then apply to your body. We took along 5 tubes of True Kids and came back with unused bottles (4 people, plus used some on our friend's kids). We applied at least 3 times a day between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. We waited at least 15 minutes before we entered the water. This stuff works great and no one got burned. With any sunscreen you have to be diligent with reapplication if you are in the water and surf a lot. We also took shade breaks. Thing is, your skin can only handle just so much sun, so if you use common sense for your skin type, this sunscreen will do its job.
