It doesn't have spreader bars. What is better...with or without? The pic looks uncomfortable like it wraps you up like a cocoon. Does it spread out?

From some research I did before buying, I learned a hammock should cocoon you. Spreaders flip whereas these cannot, plus the wrapping allows you to more completely relax. Also, you can simply lie down so your feet aren't together. This pushes the sides out if you really don't like it cocooning you. I personally like it either way. Are those black stripes or dark blue strips on the denim pattern?

'Denim' has a combination of dark blue, turquoise, white and red. 'Rio Night' has charcoal, black, and a bit of red, blue, yellow and green. 'Tropical' is much like the name suggests - lots of colors including orange, lime and purple.
