This is an excellent buy for the money. That being said, the channels for meat juice are very rough. When I oiled the board before I used it, I took some steel wool to rough areas and I'm quite happy with the results. The truth is that though this cutting board didn't have best finish job, most bamboo cutting boards this size are about twice the price, so I'm happy that a little olive oil and some steel wool took care of the problem.

This is a great carving board. We have it covering one of the countertops in our kitchen and it just makes the kitchen seem nicer. We have had it for four or five months and it is still in great shape. Beautiful board, it's pretty big too, and it's a good price point. It's got a sort of wood like smell to it that has not gone away, it's not the most pleasant smell, but it doesn't bother me at all. Also, don't wash it in the dish washer and try to oil it with something.

Nice product, great for the price. I had to spend 10 minutes sanding it before I could use it. Have only had it for a couple of weeks so I can't yet comment on it's longevity.

This was bigger than we need (my fault for not reading the dimensions more carefully), otherwise, design and construction is fine.

Huge, thick, heavy, and attractive board. Be sure to look at the measurements to ensure it's the size you want! I bought it for the multiple "juice channels." Works as expected. Got some wood/bamboo conditioner, also, to prevent drying and splitting.

So far so good. Haven't had it long enough to judge durability. It certainly seems to be easy on my knives and doesn't obviously show marks. Solid, doesn't move much and has a great feel. It looks good, too.

The wells on this board are very shallow allowing the juice from a medium cut of meat to flow over the side of the board. I am going to replace it.

Great price for above average quality.
