This chuck works great!.
This chuck works great !.., seems like it's really built to last. It works just dandy for topping off low tires as you don't need to fumble around for your separate tire pressure gauge. For those not familiar with this type of chuck......; the process is as simple as squeeze lever to insert air..let up on lever to read the air the new air pressure reading, rinse and repeat until the desired tire pressure is realized. If I were to point out one little negative, it would be the pressure numbers are a bit hard to read on the indicator bar..BUT..it's not that big of a deal as 1. you will eventually get used to it... or 2. Place a small mark on your preferred level with a marker pen.Bottom line... even with that little negative, I think this is a good product and a very fine value for the money spent.

Time Saver, Made well
Great air chuck and gage combo,, Holds up to shop service work...maybe off by a pound or two but once you figure it out just fill according to that..

Consistent
I bought two of these. I read a lot of reviews that mention they were not accurate. FWIW both of the gauges I received read exactly the same. They read 4 PSI below what my older Amflo unit reads and 2 PSI below what my cheap, Chinese digital gauge reads. None of these were calibrated by the US Standards of Weights and Measures, so I'll go out on a limb and say they are accurate enough for my needs but mostly that they are consistent as well.I'd buy them again.

Tricky valve stems - no problem!
Update a year later:The guage started to read inaccurately... Turns out the brass part of the guage that pops out to show the reading was slowly unscrewing... Put it on a tire with some pressure in the tire so it came out and I just tightened it up by hand! No more issues. Still works great and still recommend.Original review:I had a heck of a time filing the tires in my wife's minivan. The wheels were such that my regular air hose just wouldn't do it and my long-reach nozzle for filling dually tires wouldn't either. This straight-on amflo is perfect! Goes on, no issues and works exactly as I hoped it would. I never realized how much better it is with the pressure guage being built in until I bought one.And being Amflo it'll last me forever. My buddy bought the discount version for half from the local made-in-china store. His broke within a month and I truly doubt if his was accurate from the start... His was plastic where this is metal and brass.I definitely recommend. Commercial or residential. Can't go wrong.

It works great. The compressor came with an accessory pack
Got it today with my new porter cable C2002. It works great. The compressor came with an accessory pack. It had a quick connect plug that was already threaded with plumbers tape. I screwed that in to the hole in this unit and tightened it with a plyers. When the tank was full I filled up the bikes in my shed. It worked like a charm. I wish it had a drain valve for over inflating but I knew it didn't when I bought it. I checked the pressure with a handheld and it seemed consistent and accurate. I drained a tire and pumped it back up in seconds to 45psi. The gauge was very accurate for analog. Not a bad buy.

Hose died in a year, the rest died in 5 years.
The durability of this thing is terrible. My hose broke in a year. I found a replacement, and now the rest of it is malfunctioning. Would not recommend.

Solid inflator
Nice and surprisingly heavily built tool does just the trick. This is the style with the sliding brass pressure gauge.I haven't yet checked the gauge for calibration, and that would be the only thing that would make me drop a star, but I have no reason to believe it's significantly inaccurate.Shortly after receiving this tool, I came across the exact same model installed for self-service air inflation at a popular gas station nearby. It looked to still be serving admirably after a good long period of use. The outermost layer of the rubber hose was beginning to crack and chip, but looked to still function perfectly, and this was likely a result of continuous outdoor 24/7 exposure. I'd say that this is overall quite a testament to the quality of the tool for its price.

Must-Have For Anyone Who Inflates His Own Tires
This is the most convenient way to inflate your tires. The inflator easily connects to the tire valve stem and the built-in pressure gauge has large, dark numbers that are easy to read for "old eyes". I compared the gauge against a digital gauge and found it to be accurate. Not having to swith between the inflator and a separate pressure gauge is very convenient. The quality of the hose and other components is nice. I expected typical, cheap components but was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package.
