These light bulbs worked perfect for an oil lamp conversed to electric. It looks like a real flame! It was easy to install like a regular light bulb and worked in a regular sized socket. The only drawback is that the flame part is a little orange colored but it works perfect for what I needed it for.

I'm using this light bulb in a small lantern in my living room and it looks great. It has the same flickering flame look as a real candle. The "flame" is a bit more orange than I would like, but it still looks like the real deal. The lantern has not been turned off since installing the bulb, so it has been on 24/7 for the past few months. It has worked continuously without any problems.

These bulbs fit a regular socket. I use it at my front and rear porch lights as the bugs don’t seem to collect. They are not “bright” but display a calm glow. Will try them in other locations in the house

Verry nice effect. They do not provide much light, but also don't get hot, just warm. Some have less than ideal gaps between the plates. So they don't look as nice. You probably should order more than you need.

These look so pretty in some antiques lamps I have.

I am quite disappointed with these bulbs. In 1993 or 1994 I bought a cool electric lamp with a flickering bulb just like this. The seller said the best thing was how long the bulbs can last...and he was right. The bulb in that lamp stayed turned on in my childhood bedroom for years, I mean YEARS after. So I was excited to find this multi-pack on Amazon. However, each one of the bulbs in this pack went out after a very short time. I'm now using the last in the pack and it comes on only when it feels like it, which is not often.Is this just another case of 'things aren't made to last like they used to be'? Or are there bulbs like this that actually DO last a good while? Would not recommend.

2 out of the 5 bulbs didn’t work, even though the packaging was not damaged. The ones that work are very nice looking and I only needed 3 anyway but it’s still disappointing based on the price.

Great quality and much cheaper than local stores Walmart or on eBay. 5 stars!
