Wow! I absolutely love this bassinet. I purchased this to go on a weekend trip to the beach with our two month old. It was on sale for $45 & it is worth every penny. Even though this is described as a travel bassinet, let me tell you, I had a "Baby Bedside Me" bassinet on wheels when I first had her. The mattress inside was so so, very flat & basically like a piece of flat foam. She didn't seem to mind as a newborn but quickly did as she approached two months. The "Baby Bedside Me" bassinet is on wheels which YES is convenient to roll around but baby let me tell you. THIS thing weighs absolutely nothing and yet is so sturdy. You can literally move this thing from room to room WAY easier than you going to be wheeling that big bassinet through the door way hitting the walls. Also, the big bassinets like the "Baby Bedside Me" has a mattress size of 33x20. This one has a mattress of 30x17. But the QUALITY of the mattress that comes with this is outstanding. It is a very thick, very dense but SOFT at the same time memory foam almost. Very soft and comfortable for baby. I purchased a two pack 100% cotton muslin sheets for it in 33x20 and they worked beautifully on it. I am so pleased with this bassinet! I probably won't use it ever again since baby girl is in a crib now but literally wish I had bought this instead of one of those "bassinet on wheels" like I did because this thing is absolutely adorable and true quality! You won't regret getting it as your main newborn baby bassinet!

Purchased for a 10 day plus road trip. From previous experience, hotel cribs are very large, awkward to use, and usually set very low and not very forgiving on our backs. So we got this hoping it would be cozier for our baby and still be lightweight enough to bring in the car. First the pluses. It is a very nice color, exactly as pictured. It seems sturdy enough, no rips or anything, and I feel confident that it won't give way under baby's weight. The zippered netting cover is interesting, and might be useful if you need some kind of insect protection, but that was not one of our concerns. Folding mechanism works well, but it is possible to pinch fingers if you're not watching it. It is a reasonable weight, considering the sturdiness of the frame. If you are not planning to use it for travel purposes, weight should not be an issue. Assembly is easy, and once assembled there really is no need to disassemble it (although it is easily done.) The minuses. As with all bassinets, expect limited use depending on how fast your baby grows. Our baby is 24 inches tall and he fits, but I would not expect him to be able to use it for much longer. It is recommended for babies up to 30 lbs or 32 inches long, but that seems to be stretching it. The real disappointment for me was the sleeping pad. How thin is it? Well, take your average diaper changing pad and... that's it. Really. You could literally fold up the sleeping pad and use it as a changing pad, no kidding. If you are thinking of using it as baby's primary sleeping space, consider buying another bassinet pad. However, you may run into the same problem I did. I could not find any bassinet pad that fits this item. I ended up buying the babies r us 31 inch x 18 inch bassinet pad (does NOT fit, too large) and squishing it in. The next smaller pad was too small. (Obligatory warning: manufacturer obviously does not recommend using any other pad than what they provide, use your own judgment on what is safe for you and and your baby.) Since we are using it for traveling, the fact that it does not have any way of keeping it "closed" is another con. However, I was able to get around that by buying a strip of plain ol' velcro (less than a dollar at walmart) and wrapping it around the bassinet so we could carry it more easily. Manufacturer should consider adding rubber feet to the bottom, since the bare metal just skids around our hardwood floor. A couple of felt pads should fix that. Last, it would have been nice to be able to wash this thing. Unfortunately it seems there's no way to do it without taking out screws that fasten the mattress pad board supporting the baby, to the frame. If you are really determined, I guess you could remove it. But even if you did, the net cover on top is all one piece with the bassinet, so it would be strictly hand wash, and who knows if it would shrink. Overall it is very nicely designed, but has its flaws. If you are okay with those flaws, or are willing to fix it yourself, then it really is a great bassinet. ***Updated to 4 stars, had no problems using it while traveling. The pad I used settled in after a while and never popped out. Baby slept well. would recommend as long as you know what you're getting.

Does sit a little low there are no adjustments to make it taller but all together it's a good product easy to put together, it does keep my cat and dog out of the bassinet because of how the net is over top of it, I'm able to take it down and take it places with me so it is very portable, the sleep quality the mat is a little thin but to me it seems like any other bassinet mat, and it is very light so able to pick up and move from one area of the house to the other.

I actually bought two of these to use for kittens from our rescue that are being bottle fed. These bassinets are way sturdier than I expected for the price. I would be very confident putting a baby in them. The only challenge was pushing down the locks to hold it unfolded but my husband did the ones that were too stiff for me. They fold up small enough to easily fit under a bed so storage won’t be a problem. My adult cats give two paws up for the storage hammocks underneath which hold their ten pounds easily. Definitely my bargain find of the month.

This bassinet was worth every penny that I spent . Very easy to put together , great for small places . Came exactly as pictured . Easy to fold up when not using or traveling. Quality is great for the price .
