I have a Taurus 709 Slim 9mm. These sights should fit that model correct?

Yes they will fit all S&W M&P's. Full size, compact and Shield. 9mm, .40 and .45. I put them on my Shield .45 and they are great!

I want to confirm. Is the front view, orange.

The picture shown is of the TruGlo TFX "standard" FO site, not the Pro site that is described and being sold here.. The standard site pictured has green FO rods, as does the Pro site. However, the standard site has a white fluorescent ring, either painted or inserted, around the green FO element, while the Pro version described has a fluorescent orange ring around the green FO element. This is on the front site only. There are some other differences too, primarily on the rear site. The notch on the "standard" rear site pictured here is square at the bottom, while the Pro version being sold here, has a radiused bottom of the notch. Makes for a slightly different sight picture. The Pro version rear site also has an extreme angle on the leading, or muzzle end of the site so that it can be racked one handed on your pocket, belt or boot top.
