NO Malto Garbage, Just Delicious Coconut Powder!!
You see, I've been buying coconut milk in liquid form for years. I love it in my herb tea and smoothies, etc. Recently, my brain awoke to the fact that I was paying good money for water. So I went looking for a powdered version. Finally, I found a good one! Oh, I'm relatively certain there are others, but I took a chance and was rewarded! I had bought another brand of organic coconut milk powder and neglected to read the fine print on the ingredients label where it listed maltodextrin. When I saw that, I threw the entire bag in the trash and the hunt began, again. The KOS product lists coconut milk powder as the ONLY ingredient. That's the answer for which I was looking, so I ordered it. As warned, it was a bit clumpy. When I broke up the largest clumps with my fingers, they felt moist and creamy, even though they were dry. That told me what I wanted to know. This was the real stuff! Okay, but what about the lumps? I dumped about a cup at a time into my flour sifter and cranked the handle a few times. Voila! The sifted powder came out soft and fluffy with no lumps. After sifting the entire contents, I refilled the container and have found no lumps forming after a couple of days. We'll see how it goes long term. A few lumps is not a big deal for me with this product because I use a hand frother which quickly takes care of any lumps. One of the differences between the product I originally bought and the KOS product, is the quantity in the container and the recommended serving size. A reviewer commented about the slightly smaller container size. But then I looked at the serving size. Oh yeah, there it is! The product I threw out recommended 6 grams where the KOS only suggests 2 grams. The KOS product was rich and flavorful with only a third required. Yay!! Again, there are probably coconut milk powders that are just as good and without the wretched maltodextrin garbage, but I found this one and it fills the bill perfectly and deliciously. Very, very happy!!!

Love it so good
The taste tends to be mildly sweet and coconut‑forward, and most versions blend well in coffee, smoothies, or cereals without a weird aftertaste. Some brands dissolve better than others, but overall it’s a clean, dairy‑free alternative that’s light, easy to store, and versatile. Like most powders, it won’t be as naturally creamy as fresh coconut milk and can clump if not stirred or blended well, but for everyday use it’s practical and tasty — especially if you want organic ingredients with no junk . I love it !!! So good

Non dairy, organic and tasty
Clumps like all similar creamers, but you can zap it in blender or bang it down, etc. Wonderful for those watching their liquids, and very tasty. I use it in teecinno 'coffee' along with date sugar. YUM!

No fillers or maltogarbage
I use it for coffee creamer as I want to avoid dairy and the dry junk on the grocery store shelves. It's not perfect for creaminess, and you need a frother to mix it as it doesn't mix well without one. But it gets 5 stars because the taste is pleasant and it's the best creamer I've found so far that is not unhealthy. No added junk, just pure powdered coconut.

Illegible best by date
This is the second time I have purchased this product and both times the best by date was completely illegible...on the bottom of the white container, in the palest of yellow letters that cannot be read no matter how hard you try, under whatever lights and magnification, since the crucial part of the date is atop the HDPE symbol which completely obliterates it. I use it in a blender and it does blend well, although the contents are quite lumpy and not sure how that would play out if you were to just add it to your coffee without making a blended latte such as I do, once in the morning. The only things that don't seem to blend in my version are some of the darker spices, i.e. cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. and seem to gather at the bottom of the blender. Adding a couple of drops of food grade cardamom oil, and spearmint oil makes everything yummy. I also was glad to see Amazon is offering a case of 12 cans of Native Forest coconut milk from Sri Lanka for the same price as I paid when I first found it at Walmart.com, and is the only NO GUAR organic coconut milk I have found anywhere. This KOS container offers the following "foods grown in the USA and other countries" which seems a bit vague to me. Also the "serving size" is equally obscure since the "scoop" is determined to be "2 grams" which would traditionally be half a teaspoon by US dry measure, yet when I fill the "scoop" and dump it in a stainless steel 1 TBSP measure, it fills half of it..which would be 1.5 tsp by US dry measure, which would be 6 grams and dividing that by the claimed 179 "servings" would actually be about 60 "servings" and would treble the various "fat" and "sat fat" listed. That being said, I use it along with the Sri Lankan coconut milk, and have not used it for baking or "straight" but initially bought it for the organic, no guar claims since at the time of first purchase I had not yet found the Native Forest coconut milk, and had the KOS more as a backup plan. It's always handy to have powdered versions of things in case you run out. I have contacted the KOS Customer Service about these issues, but as of yet have received no reply. I hope Amazon will continue to carry the aforementioned guar-free coconut milk cans and wish you could order them using Amazon Fresh, but they are only obtainable if you use regular Amazon, and that by the case, not individually. Before discovering that NF cocomilk, I had tried making my own from organic coconut flakes and while labor intensive, and interesting, this taste comes as close to home made as I have found so far.

Perfect low sugar milk alternative
Looking for a milk replacement thats also low sugar? TRY THIS!! We wanted a low sugar option for hot chocolate, and made it with this and it was phenomenal. Highly recommend, great consistency, and perfect flavor. It does have a slight coconut taste but if you are adding it to something with a stronger flavor profile you won't notice it.

Can't tell the difference
I have used coconut milk for years, solves the lactose intolerance issues i have but it's especially great in protien shakes and coffee. I decided to purchase this, great value and it's yummy in my coffee and shakes i can't tell the difference from the carton coconut milk and the powdered. I will purchase this again
