I just received these batteries and charger today. They have been charging for over 6 hrs. and still not charged. I cannot comment on the batteries yet, as I am still waiting for them to charge. I am using a 5 amp USB C adapter now. I initially tried a Mico USB cable on a 2.5 amp adapter as the companies website said it would charge fast this way. I let it charge for 3 hrs before changing to the USB C.

The media could not be loaded. It loses power when I’m charging. I have to unplug it then plug back up for it to finish.Update: I had to update my review because I made an error by putting the wrong rating and review to this item. It was meant for a different item and company. This battery and charger works superb. Battery life is long lasting. I use it with continuous lighting and on camera video monitoring. Top of the line customer service. Very professional. You will be glad you purchased it.

UPDATE:Original charger didn't want to charge properly after one charge. Company contacted me and wanted to make it right. I received a replacement unit and the new charger works better. It has an individual light for each battery and each one lights up either green or red based on which battery is complete.I also tested the batteries on a quality brand 60w video light an dat full brightness without fan on I got 2.5 hours at 100% which is pretty good. Because of the low cost of the batteries and responsive brand support, I increased it to 4 stars. The only reason I took off a star is because this charger takes hours to charge both batteries so it's something you'd want to do overnight if you deplete the batteries. Still, for the low cost of the batteries it's still a great value.

The same kind of battery cost twice as much and hold the same amount of hours of powerWhat was surprising to me?

I bought three of these in July for some studio lighting. One of the chargers was bad out of the box. Amazon swapped it, no problem. I generally use the lighting on line power so had never had occasion to use the batteries until yesterday. When i tried the chargers (first time since the initial charge), TWO of the chargers are bad now. In all the cases the charger just blinks red and will not charge. I hope the batteries hold up better than the chargers, but those chargers are junk.Although no instructions are provided, my research on the vendor site indicate that the LEDs are off until the batteries are fully charged, then turn solid red. As you see in the picture (i know you cant see them blink, but trust me, they are) the filed chargers blink red whether the have a battery or not.I do not recommend these. Look at other products.
