Thin easy to apply
This stuff is great so far! It has a pleasant scent. Very easy to apply. It did darken the wood a little but it looks great to me. Dries quick but curing time is 2 to 4 hrs. Next up attaching the wheels and see how it does outside!

Spectacular Product!
Absolutely LOVE this product! Been searching for a non-toxic, plant-based, long-lasting stain forever, and thrilled to have found this one.Does it have a very strong sweet wine smell? Yes, but it dissipates in a couple days. I wore a heavy duty mask while applying, which helped a lot. Itโs also very pricey, which keeps me from buying enough to do my fence, but for a smallish project like a raised bed, itโs worth it.Looks great on untreated wood, goes on so smoothly (just be sure there is zero dirt anywhere!), and dries to perfection. Rain beads off it after it dries. Very impressed.

Easiest sealer to use! Kudos to the inventor.
The odor is slightly fruity and not at all offensive. I applied the sealer to eucalyptus wood porch chairs and tables. The sealer went on like water-a little goes a long way. Per the instructions, I wiped after 5 minutes and allowed it to dry for a little over an hour. The wood looks brand new, which is saying something since it is about 20 years old. Cleanup was a breeze with soap and water. I'd highly recommend this product to anyone looking to seal wood. The fact that it's plant based and eco-friendly is an added bonus. Back on the covered, screened porch it went. Blown-in rain is no longer a concern.

Good, but room for improvement.
I bought a quart of this stuff to seal a trio of new medium-large cedar planter boxes (I'm not planting directly in them, but growing large plants within grow pots, so it's not quite as exposed to moisture as a raised bed would be). It's too soon to tell how well it holds up to the elements, but overall the application was smooth and the finish came out quite nice. I didn't add any tint, so it really just highlights the grain of the wood a bit and gives it a more polished look. I did two coats and ended up with a few ounces of the product left over.Application was easy. If you've ever used Rubio Monocoat it's pretty similar to that. I wiped up the excess after each coat, as directed, and didn't have any stickiness once it was dry.I took off one star for a couple of reasons.1. The scent. Other folks had mentioned in their reviews that it's got a very strong smell. What I didn't realize is that the smell is, almost certainly, an additive. It's vaguely tropical, but also smells very artificial, like a gas station piรฑa colada air freshener. I wouldn't call it offensive, exactly, but I really wish it wasn't in there. I'm guessing the main ingredient of this product is linseed oil or another drying oil, and I find their natural odors much more appealing than this. It's cloying, and a tiny bit of it on clothing will stink up a room. The boxes are now outside in the fresh air, a few days later, and they still stink like the bargain bin of a Bath and Body Works.2. There's a lot of marketing copy hyping this product, but none of it seems to include a meaningful description of the actual ingredients. Maybe there's an SDS somewhere, but I dislike that the manufacturer seems to be hiding the ball as to what's in it. Different finishes work differently, as anyone who's ever finished wood knows, and having more info prior to application would be a sign of respect for the customer, in my opinion. It'd also better tell me if what I'm buying is actually a good deal.Despite the above, I took a chance on this stuff because it seemed well reviewed, was competitively priced, and touted as low VOC nontoxic. I'm happy with the results, but I can't say I'd be terribly inspired to buy it again unless the manufacturer addressed the above concerns.

STAY AWAY. STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN.
STAY AWAY. STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN. Felt like I was being poisoned. Don't see how this is food safe.Had to use a respirator in an cross ventilated open garage with 2 box fans going. It dissolved a plastic cup, drenched my foot, and soaked into the concrete garage floor. I washed the garage floor with detergent and water, rinsed vigorously with a garden hose. Left the door cracked with fans going since yesterday and still it stinks. I may have to get the floor professionally cleaned or sand blasted.I can't get the sink out of my nose. I put the stinky boards outside and they choke me when I walk by.I am going to throw out the $100 planter box I used this on. I don't want to eat anything that even shared a swift breeze with it, let alone grow something in it now. I should have stopped when the label said the rags used to wipe the excess could spontaneously combust. Argh.

works well
Easy to apply, dries quickly, some odder, good product
User
Good product.
Easy to apply and kinda smells like candy. Definitely use a drop clothe to avoid staining the ground. The smell is lingering even after 2 weeks but the planter looks great and is now very water resistant.

The Absolute Best Best Best
I use this for anything wood outdoors in my yard. Yes garden boxes, but also my cedar deck, my address sign. Anything I want to remain beautiful even through harsh Canadian winters. I live in a freeze-and thaw climate where it can get as cold as -40C (which is the same F) but then the chinook winds blow in from the mountains and it will go above zero. Garden Box Armor protects even in these conditions. Furthermore, it is food safe and non-toxic, and much easier to work with than stain. You do not need to keep a wet edge. It seals in the beauty of the wood itself. And, weirdly, it smells like Jolly Ranchers for some reason? I couldn't put my finger on the smell but my 6 year old figured it out. Jolly Ranchers. It is expensive, yes. But it has lasted far longer than stain polyurethane sealants would so I prefer to think of it as having a high up-front cost, because you definitely save money in the long run. Don't believe me? Just look at my deck.

Nice Product, but make sure applied the item outside the house.
Because still is the winter time here, I applied to my raise bed's wood before I put them together & sitting inside the house for a few hours. Smell is fine. Don't have headache for first hour. But after 3 hours ,the smell filled the room and made me uncomfortable. So make sure apply and sit it outside of the house. Result colour is nice after applied.
