My Favorite Mistake

What do a Bachelorette party, a Pay-Per View Fight, a chance meeting between old acquaintances and Las Vegas have in common? That's easy... Alexis Livingston and Cody Gleason! My Favorite Mistake is a wonderful example of the truism that sometimes the best things in life happen when we aren't looking! Alexis and Cody's relationship builds throughout the book based on a healthy combination of conversation, connection, chemistry, and compatibility. As with any whirlwind liaison, the couple experiences the trials and tribulations that happen as a result of two people transitioning from being independent individuals to being part of a couple. From a the start, the career aspirations of the couple is the central focus of the storyline and guides the way in which the relationship unfolds. It is the opposition of professional goals that sets the stage for series of internal and external conflicts which are complex and realistic. The characters in this book are ones that I found myself rooting for from start to finish. The book is well written, the characters are genuine, and the plot is not only plausible but well-developed. This book is truly a sweet romance and a great read.

Cody went to Vegas with his friends to watch the fight and Alexis was there for a bachelorette party. They just happened to run into each other after not seeing each other for years. The only difference this time was they finally acknowledged the chemistry brewing between them. Noah was the voice of reason that tried to convince Cody to come clean with Alexis about his motives for wanting to stay married and he was able to give Alexis the career boost she needed when everything was crumbling around her. When things finally blew up in Cody's face it was fun to see who helped him after telling him what an idiot he was. I laughed at Alexis and Cody's drunken antics in Vegas.'I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.'

This the love story of Cody and Alexis who meet in Vegas who were destined to be soulmates. Cody's sister Missy is a best friend of Alexis and both Cody and Alexis went to college together. Add in stemy chemistry that sizzles and a plot with twists and turns and you have another fabulous romance novel from this terrific author. Sarah J Brooks never rushes the plot and brings her characters to life with humor and emotion. If you love romance you will love this story.

Another winning book by Sarah J. Brooks you need to add to your library!!! Alexis is on her way to Vega for a co workers bachelorette weekend when her best friend Missy calls to back out of the trip, now Alexis doesn't want to go. On the first night out she runs into Missy's brother, Cody, and sparks fly. Cody is in Vegas with friends to watch a fight and can't believe how much Alexis has changed or the connection between them. A drunken night on the strip changes both lives and kills one person's dream but makes the other's dream a reality. A marriage of fate or selfishness. When Cody's secret is accidentally revealed by Missy, how can Alexis trust that Cody has any real feelings for her? What is Cody willing to do in order to prove his feelings and make their marriage a lifetime deal??? A great story with very loveable characters. Even though Cody kept a secret from Alexis he did try to come clean with her but the thought of losing her kept him silent. A journey worth traveling just to see their HEA!!! A must read and great addition to your library. Can't wait for Sarah's next story. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I debated on giving this book a rating of 2. If you like characters who seem fake and act childish, then this is the book for you! There were parts in the book that seemed unfinished, jumping from one scene to another very quickly without any information about how things got from A to Z. I would not recommend.

Sarah J. Brooks has done it again in this gripping romantic tale about a blossoming love. What begins in Las Vegas flourishes into something a bit undefined between both Alexis and Cody, the main characters of this heartfelt story. From beginning to the end, Sarah has a way of telling her stories and letting her readers see into her world as her tales unfold and this story is no exception. From the get go, I fell in love with Alexis' witty humor and Cody's romantic charms. Together, their upbeat personalities is more than capable of taking on anything and beating the odds that's stacked against them.I'm gladly giving this book a 5 star review rating and highly recommending it to anyone who loves reading romance novels!

Awesome storylines is this funny, but cute love story between two people who wanted each other's passion for a live time! They knew each other as teenages. Realizing that they had so much in common! He needed to be married to get his father's inherance, he said he didn't need it! He met up with his friend who was in a bride maid party in Law Vegas, they got drunk! This author has done q awesome job in writing this book.... Now it's up to you to read a fine out what happens next!!!!

My Favorite Mistake was extremely entertaining and enjoyable .Cody and Alexis had wonderful chemistry. There was some drama and lots of romance. The book flowed beautifully and I couldn’t put it down .I voluntarily reviewed an arc copy of this book

Cody is a businessman and wants to expand into hotels in Las Vegas but he's told to use his trust fund. To do that he must be married and he hasn't got any woman in line for that! But then that weekend, his little sister and her friends are in Vegas for a hen do and he meets Alex. The really hit it off and there is steam heat whenever they are together. During a drunken night out the=y wake up to realise that they said "I do" to each other and are now officially married to each other. Oh boy! Great for Cody but Alex has just signed up for a new job and she must be single! What's she to do? Absolutely great characters and a fun storyline that is a must read as it draws you into their lives. So believable and realistic that it seemed as if I almost 'knew' them. Sarah . Brooks really is a fabulous author and knows how to capture your attention and maintain it from first to last page. I look forward to her next book with anticipation. I received a reader's copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. However, as I enjoyed it so much and knew that I would be re-reading this again, I purchased my own copy to support the author. Most definitely recommended

Another great story by Sarah.Loved the characters and their connection and loved the storyline.Loved Alexis and Cody and their friends especially Noah.So glad they stayed together and had their HEA especially the fact they were expecting twins. Thought that twist and Cody's response was awesome
