Works well. It has the chocker with a regular collar. Gives a little more control than a regular collar

It’s a really cute collar! I like how it looks kinda like a necklace whenever she’s just wearing it without a leash. I don’t feel like it’s the most helpful controlling a puller, but I do feel like I have a bit better control with this on. I don’t love the fact that the metal stains her white fur kinda grey if she wears it consistently. Otherwise it’s fine.

I think it has the right idea. I’m not an expert but found it more useful than a prong. However my expert dog opened my closet door and ATE the plastic buckle and then ate my plant and buried the rest of the collar in the plant dirt…come to think of it, maybe he was not clever and more sociopathic. Anywho, he is still alive so the buckle is decently non-toxic? Who knew. Good think I have the child proof door locks on my bedroom.

We live in an RV park and had the great fortune of a dog trainer volunteer to teach lessons. He has been recommending this collar for years. In just a week, huge difference in the way our dog handles. A sharp snap of the collar with a guttural vocal correction and he's back on track. I never thought I'd say this, but Teenie is actually becoming a pleasure to walk on collar, not harness!A note about sizing: I originally got the S/M, it was too thick and just a smidge too large to be adjusted for proper correction. I traded it with someone who got the small which was too tight for her larger necked small dog. For reference, I have a 20lb chi-lab mix, the other dog was a stocky low spaniel, 25-30lbs. Before trading, I ordered a small, now I have two.Others have noted fur discoloration, I see no evidence of that, metal is still shiny. Collar seems comfortable, it's on 24/7.

The collar looks nice and is sturdy and well made. However, the manufacturer should take into account that smaller collars are for smaller dogs and adjust the size of the chain portion accordingly. The chain links are way too big and heavy for the size. I was expecting a much thinner chain.

One of my other dogs while playing ate the clasp part off the first week it was put on the other dog. I also lost a military grade dog harness when she chewed the strap off. Keeping my pets in collars, leashes or harnesses has become expensive and frustrating. I need items that can’t be chewed thru if anyone has ideas on that front. I will say that I really liked all the dog items and they were well made and attractive. I just have clever destructive dogs that need all metal i’m guessing.

The actual collar material was a lot thinner/flimsier than I was expecting. I’m sure it’ll do the job, and the colour is nice….but just not what I was expecting

Great collar for the price, would have given it 5 stars but it seems to loosen slightly so keep needing to tighten up.
