I opened the box and tested the lights, and they worked great. I even cleaned the surface and installed them in my Daughters room. While showing her how the remote worked, the remote seemed to work sporadically. It now does not work at all. The lights have been out of the box for a little more than a hour and the remote will not function. The battery still had the plastic "block" installed that I had to pull out to get it to work. I have held the remote anywhere from 1 inch, to 6 feet from the IR receiver and nothing happens. Me and my daughter are not happy. I may have to return this if I can't get the remote to work. She was so excited at first. Edit 1: Forgive if I have 2 reviews on this, but I don't normally do them. The seller responded to my request very quickly and wasted no time in sending me a replacement. I am very impressed with how fast they responded and that they were so helpful. I am increasing the stars based on their customer service.
