I thought the recording was poor for the first 20 minutes or so. I soon realized that if you hold down the microphone button that is about halfway down the length of the cord you get all of the sounds and it doesn't sound like static any more. I don't know if they are defective or what, but it isn't worth it to send them back for a replacement because it would just be cheaper to go get a new pair of something else.They fit alright and stay in place okay, but I am not happy with the sound quality at all. I'm going to have to figure something out, you shouldn't have to hold down a button on your earbuds to get the full sound out of them, it is really tricky to do while you are running. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great sound and bass. *by R***I on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 14, 2015* First set I received had approximately half the volume in the left ear bud as it did in the right ear. I sent it back and had a replacement within a couple days. They are as described by one of the other viewers - very rich sounds and very good bass compared to other earphone buds I have tried. It comes with zero instructions and while it seems to be pretty clear how to work them I am not entirely sure how I am supposed to use the magnets. I am guessing I attach them to a shirt and allow some give on both sides so I can turn my head fully without them tugging on my ear. They worked well for the first 6 months, but in the last 6 months, the sound cuts in and out which is frustrating during a workout. Only one channel works and I have to pull the plug in and out of the device or twist the plug to get them to work. It's also difficult to get the magnets to line up as they can disconnect during a run. Only one side of each connector has a magnet and trying to figure out which side has the magnet and trying to reconnect them while running is a pain. I gave these 2 stars as they served me well for 6 months.
