Found this item watching a YouTube video. It's the coolest little fidget and my kid loves watching it boil in her hand. It's super neat, very fragile but packaged very well.

Fun but fragile!
Great conversation piece. These are made from very thin glass so they are super fragile. The first one I ordered arrived broken which was promptly replaced. Recommend supervision of young children.

Yes it's fragile yes it's made of glass and back in the old days that was not a reason to not give it as a gift nowadays it seems or so safety conscious but with a little bit of explanation any child can enjoy this and boiler and start their journey in the love of science

I purchased this as a replacement for one I bought at a gift shop for my son. It was exactly the same thing (and less expensive). It is made purely of glass, so they do break easily. The liquid can be "boiled" up and down by a child's hand. It is really cool to watch. I recommend putting it up when not in use, as they are quite fragile if knocked off a table. :)

Not worth the $$$
I guess you get what you pay for. This hand boiler barely had any liquid in it!! There was barely enough to make it to the top when it "boiled". I was going to put it in an Easter basket, but, compared to the ones my children had growing up, this one is just too pitiful to do anything with. It's not even worth the effort to return it!!
