We are very fussy about our sausages but were unable to order from our usual supplier in time for Christmas when we found Donnelly's Breakfast Sausages on Amazon - we now have a new supplier ! These sausages are beautiful in every way - flavor, texture, consistency. We enjoyed one pack as a breakfast meal and another when we made sausage rolls - very very happy. Thank you

I ordered the sausages and black pudding after Thanksgiving so I could have Irish breakfasts over the Xmas and New Years holidays as I was not going home to Ireland this year. I grilled them with some crispy bacon and scrambled eggs and it brought me right back home. They taste just as good grilled as fried and hopefully healthier. Anyway I LOVE the authenticity of this product and have saved packs for future St. Patrick’s day and also for the odd weekend breakfast. As soon as I run out I WILL be ordering again. Nothing tastes better than the food from home (Ireland) and this product fits the bill perfectly.

Absolutely LOVE these sausages - first tasted them when I was living in Ireland and am delighted to have them available here in the US.

These sausages are among the best tasting breakfast sausage I have ever eaten. The shipment packaging is, to say the least, marginal. The internal temperatures of a representative sample of sausages using a digital probe thermometer all measured between 32.2 and 32.5 degrees F. I have no traceability to the NBS for the accuracy of the readings but I am reasonably confident they are (now in my freezer) safe to consume. However, on a warm day today on the west coast, an hour in the winter sun might have changed their acceptability. A one inch styrofoam thermal barrier provides marginal thermal protection. I would never purchase frozen foods from Food Ireland at any time other than winter. A 10 day freezer employs 3 inches of styrofoam. West coast purchasers should be aware of the risk. Perhaps you should offer a thicker foam west coast freezer pack for a small increase in cost.

Having just returned from a cruise where I was able to have british thin sausages I hunted for some. Luckily I was given some Amazon gift cards for Christmas so I took a chance on these, especially after reading lots of favorable reviews. Yummy. I would love them to be cheaper but you get what you pay for! One packet gone already! 😁😊🥰
