I washed the blanket prior to use. We used it at camper on chilly nights! So nice to climb into a warm bed! Has automatic shut off, which is very nice. Soft to the touch and not super thick. I am very happy I purchased this blanket!

Since I don't have thermostatic control and, the windows are old and drafty, I needed a way to stay warm at night. While it didn't save my life, it did make it much more comfortable and warmer. A better alternative to multiple blankets or expensive space heaters, I was able to enjoy a warm night in bed. Timer lets you turn it on beforehand to warm the bed and automatically shuts off in the morning. Money well spent.

I was a bit skeptical when I received and opened this electric blanket as it was very thin. However, it is very soft and pliable. I cannot feel any wires whatsoever, which is nice.It was slow to warm the very first time. However, I continued on, and it has worked perfect since. It gets very very warm if that is what you need. I typically only need to use it at low setting throughout the night. Overall very pleased.

According to Amazon, I bought this same electric blanket less than 11 months ago. The blanket stopped working permanently today, so, being lazy, I just bought another. It's a comfy blanket and heats up in 3 or 4 minutes. I usually keep it on a four as I live in S. California. If I set it on a five, it gets too hot very quickly (even on a cold night).The big problem that started 2 months after I got the blanket, is that it constantly disconnects from the cord. Somehow, getting on and off the bed, causes the cord to come loose. On the other hand, while I sleep, the cord stays connected. Anyway, my cat says to buy this blanket. Since she owns the bottom part of my bed (where I am never allowed to put my body ) I guess she knows what she is talking about.

First I purchased a strange name e-blanket for the price. It was attractive, sherpa lined, heavy, slippery and the power cords were too short to hang the controllers on the headboard. I returned it the day I received it. Phase Two; Ordered a Sunbeam e-blanket, my third over the years, for an extra $10. This essential for winter sleeping comfort is attractive, light weight, not slippery and the power cords are long enough to hang controls over the head board. The heating wires are more robust than the strange name blanket and are arranged so they only cover the mattress top. Efficient and effective. It warms up fast and maintains a uniform, constant temperature. I use setting 2 and 3 with room temps in the 60's. In my opinion the #12 setting would be for extreme conditions. Controls are easy to use and the timer is convenient. Overall a quality product that will induce a comfortable good nights sleep.

This item was delivered as promised. Love the dual control so we each can set to our needs of warmth. Only bad thing we found is we washed it a couple times and on the third wash one side stopped working. Not sure why. Had to replace it but the second one has worked flawlessly. Nice blanket.Remember, I didn’t have to go to the store and it was dropped at my front door!

I was really excited for this blanket and I could barely afford it when I purchased. So this purchase was pretty important to me. I was really bummed when I used it the first time and noticed that only one section of the blanket heats up. There are wires running through the whole thing but only one section works. This happened right out of the box. I didn't notice immediately but after about 10 mins I noticed it wasn't that warm at all. And after inspection that is what I found. This was my first heating blanket and now I'm unsure I want to purchase another in the future. They are expensive. I wouldn't recommend.

I’ve been using Sunbeam electric blankets throughout the house for decades. They all seem to last about 5 years or so. This model seems has fewer features than the others I’ve owned.On the plus side, it is soft and gets warm quickly and a is very warm when set to the highest setting. The display is nicely backlit in a blue color, easy to view and it dims after a minute or so after the last time it was operated. When it’s dim, the light is still readable and not too bright. It has an adjustable auto-shutoff timer selectable from 1 to 12 hours.When comparing it to the older one that it replaced, I notice that the fabric is thinner and the blanket isn’t as heavy. It might not be as durable as the old one but I can’t predict the future. The heating element inside the blanket doesn’t go all the way to the right and left sides. It stops about a foot or more from each side so all the blanket isn’t fully heated.This is a dual Control queen size blanket and unlike the old one, it doesn’t share a single 120 volt plug. It has two separate power plugs which is a bit inconvenient and a waste of limited outlets by the bed. Additionally, there is no automatic preheat timer feature. Another observation is that the blanket setting has no memory - meaning whenever it’s turned off, it loses both the heat and auto turnoff settings it was just set to. This requires each control to be reset every night as it always defaults to midway for both heat and shutoff. It defaults to 6 hours shutoff and a 6 (out of 12) heat level. It comes with a 5 year warranty.I still give it 4 stars because as an economy blanket, it’s a good value for the price even with these minor inconveniences. And in fact, I bought a second one two days later. .

Perfect for in the winter when you just want to snuggle up and be cozy. Be careful though because you will fall asleep very easily

Calienta rápidamente y mantiene la temperatura según lo seleccionado.Hasta ahora no he tenido problema al utilizar esta cobija eléctrica.Muy recomendable
