Nice fit for the money

I own a 2000 Toyota 4Runner and replaced both front wiper blades at the same time. I decided to purchase both this one by ANCO and  ACDelco 8-4417 Advantage All Season Metal Wiper Blade, 17 in (Pack of 1) . They cost about the same and I just figured I'd see if there was a difference. The ACDelco one works better. The housing of the ANCO blade is a bit heftier and looks sturdier, so I had originally placed it on the driver's side. However, the ANCO leaves more streaks than the other, so I ended up switching them from driver to passenger side and vice versa. They are luckily the same size. It's more important to me to have a streak-free windshield as the driver, so I prefer to have the ACDelco on my side of the windshield. For the passenger side, this ANCO blade does just fine.Both blades were very easy to replace. Just press the button to unlock, and slide off the blade from the arm.This ANCO blade is not bad and a very good deal compared to buying replacement blades at the auto parts store. It was certainly much better than the old blades which were worn and very streaky. But I prefer the ACDelco for better performance, at nearly identical cost. Had I not replaced both side-by-side, however, I probably would not know the difference.

My old wipers started falling apart in the rain and I couldn't see anything. Well, to be honest they started falling apart like 3 months before that, but I didn't want to spend money on windshield wipers because who even wants to do that.So I bought these cheap ones. Since they aren't falling apart the windshield gets wiped again. Now if I die while driving it will be for a different reason.

Fit fine for my application but no adaptation parts with the blades. I have the hook style arms and they were fine.

Advertised to clear the hood on '95 and '96 Corvettes but as you can see, it is not ever close to clearing (or "hiding") under the rear lip of the hood. The seller guarantees the fit and hood clearance. I have tried at least 5 different vendors of wipers for this car and all have had the same exact problem. If you currently have wiper blades that do clear, I strongly suggest you never ever discard the mechanical frame and only replace the rubber component of the wiper blade which is very simple to do.

Wiper is durable

Aun no lo pruebo con lluvia, pero se ve muy bien y resistente. Excelente producto y buena relación precio - calidad. Viene solo con un conector adicional, pero en mi caso quedo con el adaptador que trae puesto, para un VW Vento. Adquiri la de 16" y la de 24". Y ambas se perciben de la misma calidad y cada una tiene 1 adaptador distinto, adicional al que tienen puesto.

Installation was a breeze; no adapter needed as the hook fits perfectly. Click into place and you're set. Rubber quality seems good so far. There's no skipping or streaks.2-Month Update: The blades are not holding up well. They produce bad streaks and skip very often. You get what you pay for!

They say to replace your wipers every 6 months, but despite their impossibly low price when sold as an add-on on Amazon I have found these ANCO wipers to far exceed the performance and durability of the more expensive blades I've purchased in the past at places like Canadian Tire. I mean, I've bought $25+/blade wipers in the 25+ years I've been on the road, caught up in marketing double speak and promised of space age material and new blade designs.I was researching, possbily in Consumer Reports, wipers a few years ago and these ones were highly recommended for their price so I gave them a shot. I live through a few months of sub zero weather in Canada, lots of salty roads and slushy Februarys and Marches, these wipers didn't show signs of needing replacements until they were just about a year old. Visual inspection shows they held up well too.Extremely minimal noise and streaking, I will definitely continue to use ANCO 31-series for my Cruze for the foreseeable future. Both the 17" and 22" have had the same performance for me.
