These work as needed. Box is flimsy, so it's difficult to strike. I have ended up putting them in a hanging metal match holder and adding at strike strip to the bottom of it. That works well. They aren't made too strong, so I usually hold it midway up to strike.

Excellent size and a very good price.

So good for lighting wood stove fires. When I first got them, my husband was not very interested in them for this task but now he loves them. Keeps hand far from flames. This particular vendor's pricing in groups of 5, 10 or more is a very good purchase price.

Purchased 10 boxes. They light right away on first strike and are thick enough they don’t break while striking. Almost purchase some more expensive shorter versions - so happy I didn’t do this! Yes happy indeed!!

I normally buy Diamond Long Reach matches but decided to try these ["Spark" brand] because they were less than half the price of what I could find locally for the Diamond ones. These turned out to be great. The box only has a small striking area on the lid, but that's all one needs since a very, very light strike will light these every time. Much easier to light than Diamond matches. The sticks are noticeably longer as well. I'm glad I bought these.

The sticks brake as you light them and don't stay lite. Probably super old. Pretty bad and I wanted to like them. Don't know how they got any good reviews. You get what you pay for. Don't buy these.
