Review: Abolutely First Class Chestnuts - I used these at Thanksgiving to stuff my turkey. I made a traditional sage and onion stuffing and then added the chopped chestnuts. They are sweet and have a lovely texture. They added a little French twist to the stuffing this year! I will definitely buy these again. You need to use them all in one sitting, as they will mould quite quickly if you store them, even in the fridge. I just took the extra chestnuts and pressed them into the cavity whole ... guests were ecstatic about them!! Highly recommended! Great Flavor
The chestnuts arrived very quickly. It has become increasingly more difficult to find fresh chestnuts in grocery stores so you have solved a problem for me. Thanksgiving would not be the same without chestnut stuffing for the turkey. I will certainly be ordering again.
